I am a semi pro and take my 70D with me everywhere. Thank you Canon for adding the locking mechanism to this lens, making it so much easier to carry. This camera takes excellent stills and videos.

This is my first dslr. I read reviews on it before purchasing and it was even recommended to me. I like the way it fits in my hand and isn't as heavy as I was expecting. Ithe takes amazing quality pictures if the settings are correct. The lense is great as well, but it's definitely just a starter lense and I will be upgrading soon. I will still keep this lense however.

First camera, love it easy to use and takes great pictures action shots and still shots

I bought this camera and ended up exchanging it for a few reasons. My father had Sony lenses he was going to give me for one hit the camera was a lot heavier than mirrorless cameras and much bulkier for hiking. Ended up exchanging it but overall felt it was a good camera.

You don't need the manual to start getting amazing picture quality. I use the 70d for video specifically and the lens the package comes with is insane. You do not need to spend twice the money, this thing feels very well made, once you see the image you took, you'll be sooo stoked you spent the money!

It's absolutely worth the money for mid level user like myself.

I am still learning everything it can do. I like that you can take your pictures in black and white or sepia.

Great in-between camera for intermediate users. Features fitting of a professional without the absolutely crazy price tag. Great video features as well.

I was quite blown away by the quality of this camera’s images; not only were they super sharp but the coloration was dead accurate. The focus was super fast and super accurate. The stabiliser works well, esp in video shooting. Note: three handheld scenes in the video clip were shot without the stabilizer in action.

had an original rebel and this is quite the improvement. great for taking pictures of the kids and all of their activities. easy to haul around and the pics are wonderful

Fast, multi-point auto focusing during video is amazing! It's a great overall general use camera. Not the best for low light shooting, but this is the case with any non full-frame (cropped sensor) DSLR. Plenty of options. Hard to connect mobile app through wifi, but once connection is made, it's great!

Every body knows this camera is the standar to shoot video for weddings and quinceañeras, it has an exellent quality and easy to operate, greate camera.

This is a really amazing camera! The photos are amazing and the video recording clarity is great. I'm still learning how to use the auto focus in video mode. I had used it for the first time at an air show and it kept losing focus on the planes in the sky. Like I said, I'm still learning how to get the best video out of it. But what was in focus looks great even when I plug the camera directly into a 55" LED TV. The battery life is also really great with it too. I used the camera all day off and on for about 9hrs before I was down to only 1 bar left of battery life. Most of that time was recording the videos which uses much more battery than taking stills. Very happy with this purchase overall! And a side note, you can call Canon anytime and as many times as you want to get any help or tips with your Canon camera which is great support!
