Great camera for advanced photographer. Some call it "pro-consumer" camera but it can produce excellent photographs.

Love how this camera feels and when talking picture. Use this camera as beginner or hobby type but once you can set it right, you can take great pictures. I wish this camera came with GPS tagging on board for vacation pictures. Otherwise build quality of each area is right for me.

Christmas gift. Can't get enough. The increase iso range, speed in low light situations, tack sharp focus, and ability to control my 430EXII strobe wirelessly are just too much to get over in just a few days. The HD video capability is supposed to be where the best impact of the 70D will be felt. I haven't tried it yet, but I can't wait! I find myself falling in love with the 3" flip out touch screen and its functions. Over all, it seem like a great value for dollar camera.

This camera has everything I wanted from a camera but this is expensive though. Hope the price is a little cheaper.

I've owned several medium/high end cameras in my life. I bought this one for my wife as a Christmas present. We use it a lot and have taken a lot of good pictures including the total eclipse, full moon over the lake, family, etc. It's definitely worth the money. Make sure you get a high speed memory card. Mine takes pictures as fast as you can push the button. Normal cards about once or twice per second.
