It is a GREAT camera, very easy to use and quality pictures

I'm not an expert, by any stretch of the imagination, but this camera technology sure makes me look like one. The auto-focus is the smoothest and fastest of any camera I tested. The smoothness and quickness beats the snot outta any Nikon. Add the touchscreen capability to shift focus between foreground and background quickly, and you have yourself a super powerful photo and video making device. Highly recommended.

I love this camera. Has a lot of features for the price. I like the touch screen and vari-angle feature specially when shooting in a very low angle or position. It means no more awkard positioning when shooting. Focusing is also fast and accurate. I used it for sports and outdoor photography and it works great. I also love the wifi function of the camera where I can use my i-phone to control my camera. I have an IR remote controller but I could not figure out how to use it with this camera. I still love to use the IR remote controller since it is faster to setup than the wifi feature. I will have to figure that out and update my review later. So far I love this camera and everything suite mu photography needs. It's a great upgrade from my Canon T3i.

I bought this camera for our first Disney vacation. I have to say it the pictures were gorgeous and I have never before used a camera like this one. Easy to use. The only downfall is the weight. Carrying it on my neck hurt but it was completely worth it!!

This camera has turned out be a great learning tool and the shots are very good. I am still learning the ins and out of the SLR and the team at Best Buy have been outstanding in explaining basic shooting styles and additional equipment I may need. They have recommended some online training classes and those have been great. I am intend to add another lens either a 50mm or 85mm for close detail shots.

This camera is all I will ever need, hopefully! It's not at the very top of the line, but it's right under it. As someone who is just now learning photography, it's perfect. It's HIGH quality, and will hold it's value if I decide that I want to sell it later. I'm excited about learning more about my new camera. (:

The camera works great. I like to WIFI option. Of course you need a good lense.

So my trusty, and very old, Canon 20D was stolen along with my bag while on vacation. Thankfully our insurance covered the loss and I was able to pick this camera up as a replacement. So glad I chose this one! I don’t do anything super professional, but I do shoot a lot of families and outdoor scenes, and this has been fantastic. The settings are all very easy to navigate, and the lens that comes with it is actually quite good. Some people don’t like that it doesn’t have a live view on the back, but eh, I didn’t have it with my 20D, so I’m used to it not being there. I haven’t set up the wifi on it yet, but that is a handy setting to have. I would definitely say that this was well worth the price.

After great study and reviews, bought the Nikon D7100 and really liked it for sports from the stands, low light, Senior pics, etc. Then came the Canon 70D with all the same capabilities plus the tilt touch screen and controls that were easier for me. Either one will take great photos in any situation. Best Buy was great to let me trade cameras within the 30 Day return period.

Canon - EOS 70D DSLR has a lot of extra and new features. Still learning to locate buttons with the new configuration (touch screen is nice feature). Faster, clear& sharper images when compared to previous T3i

I upgraded from a 6+ year old Canon Rebel to this camera and have used it about 10 times, mostly for capturing soccer game action using the 75-250 lens. The auto focus is quick, sharp, and follows action well, big upgrade from the old camera. I'm still experimenting with custom settings, but the standard settings work pretty well in the situations I have used.

This camera has been everything I have been looking for and more. Although I like to used the manual components the automatic settings really do a great job of capturing the feel of your shot with out over doing it. The speed is great and the ability to shoot in low light without even a tripod it really good. Really good option if not going into the full frame arena.

With this new camera and lens, I may never use my old camera gear and other lenses again. The auto focus is incredible, the response is instantaneous, the image stabilization works great. I started with some pet photography just because the dog and cat were there when I got out the camera. The photos are amazing. This camera can do just about anything at all that you want it to do. There is a lot to learn about working the controls and the menus. Don't expect this to be a pocket point and shoot (although the presets allow for great photos while letting the camera decide what settings to use). It is large and heavy but if you want quality photos, this is a great camera. Yes, the price is steep but you do get what you pay for. I have not yet played with the movie settings so cannot comment on the ease or quality of shooting video with this camera.

My 2nd Canon purchase nothing better I suggest playing with all the settings to get familiar with them. I use the video function the most and the picture quality is wonderful, Still shots as well the silence with the AF sense is superior loving the depth to field shots that I am capturing.

I am using this for two weeks now and while a lot of functionality is still undiscovered, I am loving the performance and images of the camera. The STM lens that came with it 18-135mm does what it's supposed to do. Love the touchscreen live view, makes life so much easier at certain conditions. Overall I am really happy with the purchase.

This camera takes very nice pictures, with plenty of pro features built in. Video quality is great. Zoom is fast. A headphone jack to monitor audio would have really been nice.

I recently bought this camera for a driving trip from CT to CA. :) Long way to enjoy :P And this 70D just gave me a huge surprise when taking pictures: bright color, wider view and faster response. I will hunt for several lens to work with it in the future.

I have had this camera a little over a month. I have had a enjoyable performance from it. A lot of features too many to mention. I would recommend this camera to anybody who's interested in photography. The wi-Fi is a great feature that I will mention. To get the pics on your devices and post them on social media or share them with friends and family immediately after the pics been taken. The touch screen is also great.
