This camera is awesome, takes great pictures and I love the wi-fi feature. Returned the T5i and decided to spend a little more to get this one instead and I am not disappointed. Would definitely recommend this camera to anyone starting out.

My First impression of this camera is that I love the step up from the T4i. It seems to focus much quicker than the T4i which makes action photography much easier. I haven't had a lot of time with it yet, but i do notice the weight difference. It is noticeably heavier. One thing that affected my decision to purchase it was all my lenses for the T4i are compatible with it.

The last camera I purchased 20+ years ago was a Minolta Maxxum, I had a lot of fun with it and it served me well through the years. But it was time for a new camera, updated camera. I was looking at both the Canon 70D and a couple of Nikon models. I purchased the Canon 70D, for me it was a combinatin of price and features, the tie breaker really came down to how it fit my hand. I have been using the camera for about 3 weeks now, mostly taking pictures of the kids at their respective sporting and performing events both indoors and out. I chose the body with the 18-135 lens which covers most of what I need on the sidelines. The preset modes are good for me as a starting point and as I learn more about the camera and the features offered I have been able to expand the range and depth of photos taken. One feature I have really enjoyed is the wi-fi functionality to down load the photo's to my ipad so I can view them on a larger screen and the kids can see them without handling the camera. The EOS app used to down the pics and manage the device remotely is okay, i was hoping for a bit more, I am sure in time Canon will develop this a bit further too. I tested the Nikon as well, both have their good and better but for me, Canon was the winner.

My wife and I bought a GoPro silver4 for our trip to Hawaii. The picture quality was amazing when plugged into our television. Got some pretty amazing shots. The associate helped us out and we got exactly what we needed!

I Shoot music videos and do independent films with this. It great for its kind. Very easy to get use too. Of course their is many other options out their better but if your budget is 1200-1500 this is what needs to get purchased. Highly recommended. Not to familiar with terminology but all futures are high quality. For any filmmakers looking to grab a new piece of equipment this is it.

Bought this camera as a gift for someone. It is awesome. It could be used professionally even though the salesman mentioned it was lower in line and that they had other cameras if I wanted a professional, more commercial camera. It is nice if it is in your price range. If it is too high priced I'd recommend the Sony digital SLR that costs $700-900.

Camera is easy to use and really like the flip out screen. Fires off shots quickly, however autofocus seems to not always be accurate I was considering the Nikon, but the oil spot issue was the deal breaker for me

I really like this camera. It is easy to use in auto mode and gives you a LOT of flexibility to be creative with the more advanced settings. I have not tried the WiFi yet. The video comes out beautifully. The Live View image capture works really well. Could you nitpick and want a few more features/functionality - yes. However, you have to realize that this is not the top of the line camera so you can't expect everything. My bet is that most people will not even scratch the surface of what this camera can do.

I love this camera. I have always wanted one and my family recently took a vacation to Navarre Florida and I stopped into best buy and purchased one to take pics of the family on the beautiful white sands. The camera was very easy to use in auto. All I had to do was point and shoot. Recently received the pics back and they turned out amazing. My family is going to have great memories with this camera.

This camera takes amazing photos and video! Great mid range DSLR, but really it is all about the lenses you get. The construction of the camera is great because it is a Canon product and it performs perfectly.

Had purchased the two lense pack with another company. Upon research I decided the Best Buy deal and lens combo was much better. A great overall camera that covers nearly every scenario. Haven't done video yet.

This camera is not too complicated, even for a beginner. I don't understand half of the controls on this, but I use it on auto and it takes great pics. The flash is excellent. Would highly recommend.

I have only had the camera a few weeks but there is nothing that I dislike about it. I shot some pictures at a volleyball game in low light and was able to get stop action without the use of a flash. (The ref explicitly said no flash pictures during the match.) I would highly recommend this camera to any serious photography. The sales man - Best Buy in Chattanooga - was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

Great all around camera. I have no complaints. I purchased the nikon d5300 and found it setup more for beginners. It was a hassle to use it in manual mode. The canon is great and easy to use in manual and automatic.

I'm a wedding videographer so I use DSL our cameras exclusively I needed to upgrade my Canon 60 D.. The 70 D is great because it gets rid of the recording time limitation on DSL ours at 12 minutes so you can record up to 30 minutes uninterrupted the LCD flip screen is great for not only videography but filmmaking to if you're looking to go not quite a full frame DSL are you at the 70 D is that the one you want

This camera is a little advanced for me as I am a beginner. But it takes wonderful photos and with practice I'm learning it's features. Takes great pix and is compatible with all my other lenses. I love it.
