This is just a T7i with dial locks and a top screen display for people who want the expensive camera feel but don't have the money. Everything you need is here to make great pictures and videos except 4k.

Got it on sale but for budget conscious price point I really enjoy learning with this camera. Casual photographer and took a basic class. No regrets and for my level of photography knowledge it will be a long time, if ever, before I out-learn what this camera can do.

I read and watched several YouTube videos reviewing this camera before I bought it as a backup to my 80D. There are several similarities between the 2 cameras which makes it quite easy to go back and forth, as needed, between the 2. In short I really like the 77D!

Bought this as an upgrade from my daughter's rebel T5. It is definitely worth upgrading if you are serious about photography. She suggests buying the body only and purchasing better lenses than come with the kit.

Have used Canon cameras since mid-1980s. All my Canon lenses from 35mm SLR to T3i DSLR work on 77D which is priced right for the advanced capabilities. Wireless communication to my iPhone and Windows PC are added plus. Look forward to shooting lots of great photos.

Let me start by saying I have owned or do on the following Canon Cameras 40D, 60D, 70D, 80D and now the 77D. This camera is far superior than the 40D and 60D taking photos, but falls behind the 70D and 80D. The 77D is missing the ability to change to 7 or 5 shots from 3 when using AEB (Auto Exposure Bracketing for HDR), which both the 70D and 80D have included. The redeeming quality of this camera is the video mode. With the introduction of in camera stabilization paired with a newer canon ef-s lens with stabilization it produces a very steady shot for a DSLR.

This is my first DSLR after I’ve researched and waited for the price to drop. I couldn’t be any happier with the purchase of a replacement for my old camera where you get more pixels than most cameras out there.

I was looking to upgrade my wife’s Canon Rebel and after debating over this and the 7D, I went for the newer version. Almost identical features at a fraction of the weight.

Camera is great. But, the warranty was never sent. cant register it with Best Buy. Site wont let me, and I never got the Shutterfly coupon that was listed with it.

A solid camera. The price was right. Good features. Works for me.

The Canon 77D is a very serious upgrade to the Canon T series lineup of devices. The various options make everyday photography a thrill with this camera.

I graduated my camera from a T3i Rebel and this devide is a great step up! Very familiar with the device settings and easy to navigate

i absolutely love this camera! i upgraded from the rebel series, and found this camera to be a perfect fit between the 70d [rebel series] and 80d. if you read reviews online, you can see how others feel this way too. this camera has some GREAT features: 1.) wifi and bluetooth 2.) app download that allows you to take photos from your phone - so you don't even really need to buy a wireless remote! this app also allows you quick downloads from your camera. 3.) the new special effects; you can take shots based on your preference. for example, they have "miniature effect," which causes your photos to focus on one area and completely blur out the rest. they also have a fisheye effect. its truly great. overall, i am extremely happy i bought this camera. it has increased my ability to shoot tenfold. i travel and photograph a lot, so this camera is great for what i need. i highly suggest it to all!
