This camera is a fantastic all-around APS-C camera - it takes great pics and great 1080 video. Canon has released nothing but fails after this camera, so this is the one to get.

Very clear pictures. Good battery life. My husband is very happy since his 70d was giving him problems with soft pictures.

Easy to use and lots of options as far as being able to adjust the shoot settings for more advanced photographers or just putting it in auto mode for beginners

Canon's 80D camera has a lot of features semi pro photographers will find very helpful in there photographic endeavors. The fact that it has a built in flash and you can use both Canon EF-S and EF professional line of lenses makes it a versatile DSLR.

This camera rocks! Head and shoulders above my old Canon body. It does everything well and has so many features I am still learning how to use. I am so happy I bought this camera.

My husband has the 70D but has been wanting the 80D since it has better features, he absolutely loves it! Says its the best gift he's received in a while.

there's are many new technologies in more modern cameras but this is definitely the best camera in the market to start the career in photography

Had a Canon d40. I apparently wore the shutter out. It was over 10 years old. This camera is even better with all the new upgrades. It's faster and my pictures are even better.

This camera by far has exceeded my expectations. I decided to pick up photography and I couldn’t be more pleased with the ease of learning this camera.

Everyone loves this camera and I am still on the fence for the price. Pros: it is fast, shutter speed is really great, little lag, in sun picture quality is excellent, video is fantastic Cons: I still feel some issues with quality with low shutter speed on auto settings and some manual. I am pretty savvy and have a film degree so not stupid to cameras. Pretty well versed. Still figuring this out, but most shots are worth it. YOu need a great lens with this, i use the 55-250mm cannon most of the time. Overall great camera, upgraded from T2i and previous 20D. But the $1199 felt like a little much for what i got. $999 would have felt more worth it. I have to return it though as too many times with the battery in the camera would just freeze. I would turn off and it still would be frozen on, until I took the camera battery out. Annoying and happened right out of the box. For $1199 not acceptable. Got warranty and will repair.

This is an awesome camera. Really great for both video and pictures especially with the right lenses!!

Very well built and nicely weighted camera for women or men. Was concerned about the weight but so far has very comfortable.

I dropped my 60d and it was requiring repairs too costly for old technology. I am getting used to the new bells and whistles of the 80d and loving them.

Easy to use yet, has many great features... touch screen, 24 Pixels, quick sport feature shutter speed... to name a few.

Still learning how to use this. It is definitely a much needed upgrade from my last camera. A bunch of new features.
