My mother wanted to get started into photography so I bought her this 80D. I wanted her to have the same experience from the beginning that I did. She is beyond happy with it. Hard to find her without it anymore. I recommend this camera to anyone that wants to delve a bit deeper into photography and even seasoned professionals. I know many who have one of these in their bag at all times. It's a perfect camera. Go buy it.
