As someone who owns her own Photography business but is also on a tight budget, the Canon 90D is the greatest DSLR that you're going to find at this price point, and to be honest, outperforms several cameras more expensive than it. Controls are wonderfully intuitive, the incredible 33 MP sensor is a powerhouse and the photos that come from it really stand up under rigorous post-processing. It has enough support to help the beginner but a host of really incredible features for its advanced and professional users. The video capabilities are wonderful - the addition of focus peaking makes knowing you're locked on focus easy. The new processor is lightning fast. 120p video looks amazing. With the industry quickly moving in the direction of mirrorless, the 90D will likely be one of the last great DSLR's.

Upgraded from a 60d and we're glad we did. First of all, the construction of the body is much more durable. Handling the camera is natural, great ergonomics.
Image quality is great. My wife has noticed the drastic change in quality from the 60d. She is the photographer, I'm the videographer. The video quality really impressed me and encouraged me to build a 4k editing rig. The follow focus function is seemless and the quality is good enough for commercial production.
Drive mode is also impressive, the shots per second allow for some great action photos, crucial for wildlife photography.

Such a good camera. I had the 80D and this is a fantastic upgrade. 4k looks great, and the upgraded sensor and processor do their jobs well. It's so familiar and easy to use when I'm shooting weddings.

We all know the market is moving towards mirrorless cameras but I still use DSLR cameras. As a DSLR it is an excellent camera. Not too difficult to use but If you buy a camera like this is NOT to use it in AUTO. If that's all you want, use your phone and you will get good pictures too. If you get this camera, learn all the things it can do, get what you are paying for. Using it for photography or 4K 30fps video recording is outstanding. An EXCELLENT You tube video is "Canon 90D Tutorial Training Overview & Tip Video" by Michael The Maven. I don't know him or sponsor him but I follow his photography videos and you will really learn how to use this camera if you watch that video.

Great camera. Upgraded from a 70D and this is definitely a jump. The images seem much clearer, it's much faster (taking images, focusing, and actually uploading to the computer), and it just seems to function better overall, in every way. Had to do some firmware updates to my sigma lenses to make sure I could get the full benefit of using them on this camera. I also purchased an older Canon 28-105mm lens and it works extremely well on this camera. I was surprised. The other fact that all the 70D accessories, batteries, vertical grip, etc. could be used on this was a HUGE win. The 4k shooting does really well but still trying to figure out which lens works best with focusing. Noise suppression is much better at the same ISOs.

Excellent camera, shoots in 4k and takes amazing pictures. Fairly easy to setup, for a few features I looked it up on youtube and finished setup. I use for mainly indoor shooting.

My new Canon EOS 90D DSLR Camera (Body Only) is a tremendous upgrade from my earlier Canon EOS 06D with double the megapixel resolution, a better and easier to use tilt-able LCD screen, now featuring touch control. But the best feature is the 90D's continuous auto focus capability with face recognition and focus tracking. This is such an advantage for video recording and a huge step forward from the 60D, which required manual focusing when recording video. As a result, my video recordings are now smooth and without the movement artifact caused by manipulating the lens's focus ring during shooting. Plus, I can use the Canon lenses I already owned from my 60D purchase on my new 90D body.

I waited over a year for this camera to hit the market and I'm glad I did. There were moments when I was tempted to just buy the 80D but now that I've used the 90D I'm glad I waited. The camera is comfortable in my hand, the images are clear and sharp. The high speed continuous shooting is excellent. No videos at this time but will update after shooting a few. Great Camera, highly recommend.

Have shot with a Canon 80D for over a year, when they 90D came out I wanted it for the improvements in write speed, burst rate and increased megapixels.
All my lenses work fine on the new 90D, along with my battery grip from my 80D.
The camera is really great. Focus is fast and accurate.

Wonderful picture quality, super sharp at FHD and the crop is great for punching in to subjects far away (wildlife, sports, cars, etc.) and has all the creature comforts from the full-frame DSLRs. It should be noted this camera isn't built for low-light or video specifically, but it performs admirably especially compared to models released 5-8 years prior.

Wasn't too surprised when my old Canon 60D finally gave up after almost daily use over 8+ years. Not being ready to go mirrorless or full-frame and no reason to switch systems (have always used Canon gear), sticking with latest version in the line made sense. Handling is virtually identical (but feels more solid and smooth) with a couple controls moved and added, so the transition was easy. A minor thing, but the shutter/mirror mechanism seems quieter and more "substantial" sounding. With the 33 megapixel sensor (vs 18MP in the 60D), image quality is a very noticeable step up (as are the file sizes). Much higher frame rate (10 fps) is nice to have available. I don't shoot much video but the 90D offers a lot more flexibility for that when I might need it. All in all, a more capable camera in a familiar package and very happy upgrading to the latest.

The Canon 90D is an upgrade from a Canon Xsi. I finally pulled the trigger and bought this camera after considering going to a full frame and mirrorless camera. I decided to stay with the Canon 90D. I have used the camera on serval photo shoots. The big factor for me selecting this camera was its battery life. I purchased a second battery and can shoot as long as I want.
