Great investment! We are using it for sports photography and you can definitely see the difference! We upgraded from a Rebel T6 and the difference is night and day.

I use this all the time to gather pictures and videos for social media content. Just wonderful. You can buy lenses for specific needs, but come with enough to really do a great job out of the box.

Very nice camera, a bit lighter, a flatter feel in the body than the 70D. Easier viewscreen and power switch manipulation. Increased pixels in still photos and 4K video made me pull the trigger on this beauty. And since I wasn’t spending money on concerts and such, I wanted to support one of my favorite companies in the slowdown. They’ve handled this well and I commend their efforts to keep us all healthy. Thanks, Best Buy.

Very good camera for what i bought it for. Like many reviews, it tends to back focus a lot. But other than that, the build quality is what you'd expect from Canon. The 12 fps is incredible and the lens selection for this camera is superb.

Since my favorite types of photography are aviation and wildlife, this camera handles everything I need. A large resolution image file, fast 10fps shutter and a 1.6 focal length image sensor is ideal. My 600mm lens become 960mm so getting close to my subjects are a breeze. The image files are sharp with rich colors. I am very happy with this camera and the touchscreen to change menu items is a great feature.

I wanted to step up my game and this camera has not disappointed. Love the wifi option and so far all features and specs have impressed me. The new update that allows for 24fps is awesome for those doing more video. I focus more on photography and as a beginner, I am very happy with this camera.

The 90D is a great upgrade to the 80D. More megapixels, 4k video, closer autofocus, joystick, support for type II memory cards, higher ISO, faster bursts, and best of all, everything else remained the same! So I can use my existing 80D trigger and camera cage. A must have upgrade for astrophotographers who need a flip-out screen.

I won't cover all of the great features this camera - you can check the specs on Best Buy's website. But if you are looking to advance your skills from an introductory camera - this camera has a lot to offer.
However I do love the feature to allow me to connect my iPhone to the Canon Camera Connect app to allow me to view what is being viewed by the camera and to trigger the shutter remotely as well as changing some camera settings.
The reticulating touch screen is also great for making quick setting changes as well taking photos above or below your eye level.
So if you want to advance your photography skills and have a slew of Canon lenses - this is a great camera from a company with a great lineup of cameras and accessories.

Wonderful camera, lots of room for cropping images. Good for many auto settings that are flawless. Easy to operate. Last of the cameras before they are all mirrorless. Great for low lighting

It’s okay…I previously had a Canon 77d and went to this because I heard it was a better camera but my 90d caused me all kinds of headaches.
I couldn’t use my 100mm macro L lens with it, even after the firmware updates. I heard of other people having the same issue but silly me bought the camera anyways. My macro lens worked perfectly with my 77d so it wasn’t user error….there was always some kind of focal miss when I used my macro lens with this body. It was my most used lens with my 77d and the continuous issues when I paired that lens with this body is what made me sell my 90d and move to a completely different camera system.
When I paired this with my 24mm efs, it was amazing. The camera really shined with that lens.
I had about 5 different cannon lenses (2 L series, 1 efs and rest regular) and 1 sigma 18-35m and the quality of images I got out of most of my lenses was better with my older 77d camera than they are with this new one. Maybe I just had a bad body, but there was always some kind of focusing issue when I paired it with certain lenses.
If your new, or maybe just a causal photographer who doesn’t want to invest in a lot of gear, this camera will pair up great with a 24mm Efs pancake or the 50mm 1,8 and you’ll get a lot of good photos of the kids or backyard flowers and stuff but if you know your going to be serious and invest in quality glass, I would just skip this body all together and either go with the previous 80d or jump into their new mirrorless line and just skip this body all together.

The 90D for youtube videos is going to be a hard chassis to beat. The EF-S lenses are on the cheap side physically, but they produce videos and photos with acceptable quality. My goal down the road will be to replace them with EF lenses.

This is an upgrade from the 70D for me and is worth the purchase. Great detail in the images (I shoot RAW) and the greater number of MPs allows for more cropping. Works well with remote operation from both my iPhone and Mini 6 iPad.

This camera is amazing. Huge upgrade for my EOS 50D. The list of amazing features goes on and on. Tested it at home but headed to Yellowstone, grand Tetons, Utah, and Rocky Mountain national Park in two weeks. Can’t wait to try it out and compare.

I love this camera! I have another Canon, the EOS Rebel T5i, so there wasn't much of a learning curve with the 90D, although it has some awesome features the T5i doesn't. The shutter is much smoother so there is less chance of camera shake causing out of focus photos at slower speeds. The much more sensitive sensor is much better adapted for astrophotography, a passion of mine. Not having had a chance to actually see one and "feel" it at the store (nobody had it), I ordered it based on professional reviews alone and was surprised that it wasn't any bigger or heavier than the less capable T5i (still a very good camera). If you're ready to move up from one of the Rebels, I strongly recommend the 90D.
