Powerful Camera, but the lenses not so good

If you're going to buy this camera considering getting the 32 mm lens. The stock lens kit is not good. Great for photos and outdoor video but not so good indoors. 32 mm takes care of this but your shots are limited. Biggest issues 4k crop, noise with stock lens, and 29 min time out feature during video. Basic rode is ok for novice video. Great value, get an external mic but on board mic is good. Interchangeable lens are decently priced. light, easy to carry around and stellar for first mirrorless. Waiting to see the additional lens coming with this.

The Canon EOS M50 Mirrorless Camera with EF-M 15-45mm lens is a versatile and compact camera that's great for both beginners and enthusiasts. It offers excellent image quality and 4K video recording in a user-friendly package. The included lens covers a useful focal range, making it suitable for various photography styles. Its flip-out touchscreen is handy for vlogging and selfies. While it may not have the most extensive lens selection compared to other mirrorless systems, it's a solid choice for everyday photography and video needs.

I'm very happy with the video quality it produces and like its flipped screen, auto-focus function and light weight, but wish the battery life could be longer. Overall it's a pretty good product for the price.

Great Camera, build quality is great, but it does feel plasticy I would preferred more metal accents. I use it for Vlogging, in 1080p it's fast autofocus and beautiful colors., great sound from Rode mic. Battery life is short, so get an extra battery.

OK, so why did you return it? Size. While smaller is better for the portability, trying to grab the darn thing without a tripod is a pain in the rear. Yes, I could have bulked it up with a SmallRig cage, but even then I'm stuck with the EF-M lenses, or get an adapter so I can drive EF lenses. The mic is not one that most will like, as they will notice a lot of background noise, and it's because of the mic, not the camera. I put my old Rode from 8 years ago on it and the sound was flawless. This is not and cannot be a replacement for your DJI Osmo Action or your GoPro Hero camera, but if you're going to travel and record vlogs on the move, it will way more than do the job. I swapped it out for the 90D and am in love with the camera, and the choice to go to a hand manageable camera. Plus I get all of the benefits of the EF lens line, as well as the ability to use my L lenses from 6-8 years ago. I instantly put a SmallRig cage on it, bought the other two basic EF-S lenses (10-18 and 24mm). None of the lenses are fast, but they produce great images and video. Battery life could be better, but if you're out and about, you have spares with you. The EOS M50 gets a very high 'purpose built' recommendation. If you're traveling, or want something with middle of the road speed, that is incredibly light, this will be an amazing camera for you. If you're on the fence, and not pressed for time, give it a few months. The M50 is over two years old, and I suspect the M50/2 or the M60 is just around the corner.

Love this camera! It gives me crisp, clear pictures and is easy to use. I can use manual settings when I want to try out my new photography skills, or auto mode when I'm unsure. We use the camera to make my kid's YouTube videos, as well and it has been great so far! We are unsure about the microphone, as there has been some noise in the videos that can be attributed to the mic and it's proximity to a router. (per research on the internet)

I’m glad I decided to go forth and purchase this camera. I had been looking at it for awhile before and seen a bunch of reviews stating how good it was especially for a starter camera. I use it mostly for video and the quality is great. The size is a bit small but still works well. Just needs to be used to it’s best ability to make it worth it. The price for this camera was really good too in comparison to other cameras with both photo and video.

Very easy to use! The Rode Shotgun mic is a great value w/ this. great upgrade to your point and shoot at a lower pricetag than a DSLR. has many features and the photo/video quality looks great. Be sure to download the drivers to your laptop/computer for seamless upload of your photos and videos

honestly a great camera to use. Like all things you have to learn how to use it to get the best out of it, but overall super easy to use, and a great affordable starter camera. I personally use it for drawing videos and unboxing videos, and it shoots great.

This Canon EOS M50 mirrorless camera is one of the best for outdoor shooting. Easy and carry and lightweight. It also comes with a RODE mike, but this mike is not efficient - this mike has some problems, not recording the audio clearly, without that mike it's better, You can buy Rode different mic. You have to get extra batteries if you are going out on trips. But with respect to the charging and photo clarity it's best with the included lens. You can port different lenses as alwasy with adaptors support.

im still new to the youtube world and i was on the hunt for an affordable, mirrorless and reliable camera then i found this. if your a beginner who will started on a vlogging this camera would be good for you. very affordable and you have everything from memory card to rode microphone which is included instead of buying separate that it will cost you $60 to $70 just for the microphone only. very compact and so lightweight i have a small hands so its grips properly. one thing is the downfall is the microphone outlet, they should put like on the upper area instead of the side, it annoys me everytime turn the screen. anyway that's all my complain but overall this camera is off the hook!
