A really nice little camera that can take 4K or full HD video up to 29 minutes 59 seconds. Takes great still shots…you can use a 256GB memory chip for plenty of room for videos and photos. The included (in my camera kit) external microphone does an excellent job on the videos. The only downside of the Mike is that the external Mike jack interferes with the monitor screen if you rotate it external to the camera body. The 15-45mm lens is adequate but I highly recommend a 55-200 or 55-300mm zoom lens addition. The camera has many modes so familiarization will come in time with use.

This camera has mer majority of expectations. The pictures I have taken are so clear and crisp. I have not tried the video yet but I’m sure it will be fine. Very easy to hold and light. I love it!

This kit was perfect for what I was looking for. I need it to make... content... of sorts. I’d previously been using my webcam and cell phone for the past 10 years but this blows those out of the water. There is a learning curve when going from phone/webcam to an actual camera but watching tutorials helped.

This is the perfect camera for me! I use it on a weekly basis for all my personal photos and work. The videos are exactly what I needed for my vlogs. LOVE it.

Takes good pictures. For a first camera i think its pretty easy to use. Everything is straight foward.

First, I don't feel equppied to write this review at all, but I keep being prodded to do so via email with the dangling carrot of 25 points for something. I will say this. I've had this camera for almost two months now, and as a super-duper beginning-level photographer, I've only tried using it twice because I'm completely overwhelmed with it. I don't know what I'm doing. You can't just turn it on and take pics & video. I have a lot of learning to do and haven't had time to do it yet. The first night I got it, I went out and thought I was taking a bunch of cool pics & video, only to get home and realize none of them had saved. Yes I had the memory card in it; I don't know what I did wrong. Anyway, if you're a newbie too, don't expect to get this and just be able to automatically use it properly. You need to read the whole instruction booklet and watch some tutorials if you're new to photography. It may work perfectly well (as numerous reviews from people who *do* know what they're doing report), but I wouldn't know because I haven't been able to use it properly yet. Oh, I'd also recommend you get a case for it. That's just a good idea. It's an expensive purchase, and you want to take good care of it. That's all I've got! (I don't know if this review system lets users respond to these or not, but if you have recommendations on quicker ways to become familiar with this camera, I'd be appreciative to hear them! The tutorials I've watched so far are by people who skip simple steps for super beginners, so not 100% helpful.)

This is the perfect camera for beginners. For example .... my grandson will be going into his second year of "Graphic Arts" studies at a PA University. He can start with this camera & move up as his studies progress.

I am new to vlogging and this camera records in the quality I was looking for.

I’m very pleased with this upgrade. I went from a canon t2i to this M50 and it was well worth it! The camera is small and you need an adaptor for certain lenses but it was not too expensive. I have not used the mic just yet .

Really good camera. Potential to upgrade through various m-mount lens selections. Not sure if the entirety of the “creator package” was necessary. Yet, great opportunity to create contents right out of the box.

Very nice camera. Have done a lot of vlogging and b-roll. Photos, and more. A very nice camera, wifi/bluetooth work good for family shots. Quality is so nice with portrait style videos and photos.

I got this camera for my entry photography courses and it's been working so well, and it's compact for travel !

First feeling is very light! After i get adapter to hook zoon lenses on, the hold is unbalance. it nice to have it with regulars lense. But for big lense it is the only con so far!

I love my Canon M50! It's a great camera for beginners and I'm having a great time using it. I don't use the RODE mic very much, because mostly use the camera for photos, so I can't say much about the mic.
