take good pics fast. which is all I wanted super easy to set up bought it for my wife and she absolutely loved it (her first camera)

I didn’t know if I wanted this camera or the canon g7xx but after doing my research I decided to with this one. It works well with the video and I’m not even a camera expert but I been managing to learn more and more about it. I recently took some birthday pictures and I loved how they turned out!!!! Really nice canon colors small and compact overall a awesome camera to walk around and take video on. The video quality is really good unlike all Sony apsc Cameras which always have shaky video and rolling shutter problems with the slightest move.

Great purchase. One of the associates helped me out a lot too. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the kit lens (because of what I specifically needed to record/capture) but I was also able to purchase the 50mm 1.8 which all works great together. My ONLY drawback is that I needed to buy the adapter mount but again, it’s all a great investment.

Yes, buy it. I watched you tube and compared many different brands but ended up making the decision on the Canon M50. It is easy to hold, powerful, quick, and less pricey than the competition. You can use all of the Canon lenses but the EFM lenses are made specifically for this camera. You will need an adapter for the Cannon EF and EFS lenses to work. This camera is fast, easy to use, and can almost fit in your pocket. I have had it for a month now. I do NOT regret making this purchase. I am not a professional but I am also not an amateur. This can be used anywhere on that spectrum. P.S. - Buy a great lens. I recommend the Canon EFM 32mm 1.4.

-Overcoming the mirrorless/DSLR switchup fear- Quality and classic expectations from Canon! Shot film for a couple years prior to jumping into DSLR.... I have been a hardcore DSLR fan since 2008.... Fast forward to Dec 2019....I have been eyeballing mirrorless for sometime but afraid to put down my DSLR....for fear of new things pretty much..lol... Finally pulled the trigger on the M50 at my local best buy, and never looking back! The DSLR setups are officially tucked in a case in the basement, and I am stuck on the M50. -Little tech info review.... The kit lens is perfect for small area vlogging setups,I am running the RODE micro and love the side flip oug screen feature Canon offers when running a hotshoe mic, and vlogging...Other Mirrorless cameras have a flip up screen which usually gets in the way of a hotshoe mic. I do wish the scroll control up near the main shutter button scrolled in the direction you scrolled... my setup is inverse for some reason... just an annoying thing I catch myself every time I use the camera not remembering... maybe I am just crazy... but annoying as can be... Back to a positive topic of this camera....This camera is easily the lightest device in my daily pack... I know that sounds crazy... kit lens and all this thing is sooooo light! Hope you get this camera and begin to document your life like no one else can!

I was looking for a camera that was relatively small with lots of capabilities to fill the role of vacation camera, taking the place of my big full frame DSLR. This one met all of my needs. It's bigger than a lot of point and shoot cameras but not a lot bigger. The kit lens that comes with it, a 15 - 45 MM, is adequate, but I added a 22 MM F2.0 that really makes this camera shine. It fits neatly in a small Case Logic camera bag which tucks neatly into my back pack. Major pluses are the APS-C sensor (bigger than most point and shoots), the ability to shoot RAW, the excellent touch screen, the bright electronic view finder, the well organized menu and the ability to customize the camera's operation. I've been very happy with it. And I'm a Nikon guy!

I brought the Canon M50 about a month ago. I have really enjoyed it this far. This camera packs a real punch for its size.

I've had my camera since Nov 2020. Last Fall I sent it to be repaired with the manufacturer (even if you don't get the best buy care you can still send it to get fixed) - Canon because my camera had stopped working due to an accident. It was repaired and returned to me for free, when I got it back I noticed it was slower to pick up movement on the screen and it felt weird. However it's been able to continue to record and take beautiful photos. Just so you know it's super sensitive to water - ex: being in the moist for 30 mins in the morning. Although I did take it to Guatemala while it was raining - but I wouldn't push your look because the insurance doesn't cover it. You can definitely wait for it to dry though and tell them to take a look at it if it doesn't work. There's so many features I'm still learning, the top black part fell off easily and my sibling lost my lens cap. I tried buying other ones and they don't fit. It could adjust better/quicker with zoom in features, it isn't super smooth for that but it might just be after the repair or me lol. Works great to put on a tripod, and reads SD cards super quickly. I wanted to buy another one but saw they no longer sell them new at Best buy :/ - It picks up pretty decent sound, I've just bought an external mic for it and looking to buy a wireless mic for when I want to record events.

Amazing starter camera for newbies like myself. I originally purchased this camera just to document my artwork for school, however, it ended up sparking a love for photography that I never knew I had. I'm looking to upgrading to the Mark III, but still a fantastic camera.

Have various presets, can record many videos, change brightness, flash kind of have to be forced to turn on.

This camera is amazing. I recommend the 50mm lens for this bad boy. You will not be disappointed. For nature and moon shots I suggest the 100-300 mm

We bought this camera for my husband's YouTube channel since his phone did not take good enough videos. We ended up using it for much more and it is amazing! We love it!
