I am very impressed with this camera. Coming from the micro 4/3 world, I was nervous this was going to be much bigger than what I had been carrying, but to my surprise and delight, it’s not noticeably any different in size than my GX85. What is different is the image quality! Even with no IBIS I am getting reliably great pictures. 32 megapixels is awesome and Canon’s colors are great out of the body. I love that I can sync the camera to my phone, transfer photos right there, and get them posted very quick. Canon doesn’t have a lot of lenses specific for this mount, but they do sell an adapter and there is a lot of EF lenses that are very nice and inexpensive. And used! I genuinely could not be more happy with this camera and it has gotten me back into a hobby that was frustrating with my last camera.

The M 6 mk 2 is a great body in addition to my M6 body. The M6 is more simple than mk 2. Being a professional photographer, I have not found any thing it can ot do.

    A tiny but mighty beast

The bad: No IBIS (the digital stabilization works pretty well though), no weather seal, and the 4K is 8 bit pixel binned (but this also means little to no rolling shutter). But at this price and size, these aren’t expected. The good: It’s insanely compact and light, and just a perfect everyday/travel camera, especially paired with the 22mm f/2 and 32mm f/1.4. The kit lenses are garbage as to be expected. It’s very capable with those two prime lenses. Photos are sharp and the DPAF works great (I rarely have to think about focus, it just knows what to do 95% of the time). The battery life is pretty good but they are small and easy to put an extra or two in your pocket. There is a decent amount of customization, and it’s nice to be able to assign shutter, aperture, and iso to three different dials/wheels. If you do need one, the detachable EVF works well and it’s nice to be able to remove it when you don’t need it. The built in flash also comes in handy at times. This is just a great camera, and when you factor in its size, it’s hard to beat. It’s a shame that Canon didn’t put more R&D into the M line, but I’ll be hanging onto this camera for a long time.

    M6 Mark II is versatile.

In the past, I have shot photos with a wide range of cameras, from Nikon F2s to 4X5 cameras, shooting a wide range of subjects including macro and was a professional wedding photographer. After over 50 years of lugging around equipment, I retired and decided to downsize. I started with the Canon M2, then ended up shooting with the M10, M100, M6 and finally the M6 Mark II. The M6 Mark II is incredibly versatile. Of special note are the wide range of ASA/ISO, the touch screen that pivots up and down (great for shooting from ground level), the placement of the shutter release (ergonomics), the capability of connecting to my iPhone for shutter release and downloading pictures, and the adapter for Canon mount lenses. I've mounted lenses as large as the Sigma 75-300mm and a Celestron 8 (focal length 2032mm). Of course, a massive tripod is needed for anything in those magnifications. On the other end of the spectrum, my 11-22mm lens has solved the problems of panoramic sceneries and large groups shots in small rooms. 32.5 MP is "probably" more than I'll ever need, but who knows. LOL

A great light weight mirrorless camera that takes amazing pics and can be used as a video camera. With an adapter you can use your EF lenses, so it isn’t necessary to buy all new lenses.
