Customers regard the EOS M6 Mark II as having excellent camera quality, a compact and lightweight design that's easy to use, and a fast autofocus system. However, some users point to the battery life as needing improvement, and others express concern about the lens cap's tendency to come off easily. The small size and ease of use are frequently praised, making it a convenient camera for travel and everyday use. Positive feedback on image quality and autofocus capabilities outweighs the negative comments on battery life and the lens cap.

Great camera! Super fast images and great quality. Works wonderful at night for milkyway photos, although not quite as good as a full frame.... but it's also not nearly as expensive. Could do without the viewfinder so unless you're stuck on that, it's easy to pass on. Battery longevity is pretty good. Weight is very light but it does have a somewhat cheaper plasticy feel compared to a mid to high end dslr. Focusing ismeasy, spot on, and fast. Large file sizes will require a large card and computer with more than 8gb of ram to handle easily. You'll also need a UHS-II SD card to get the full speed of this camera including running 4K movies.

This is my first camera and it’s very easy to use so far and understand but what I love most about this camera is that there are so many how to videos online about this camera so it’s like having a teacher next to you the whole time while learning to use it..... the pictures come out great and you don’t have to know anything about photography to use it like I said this is my first camera and I’m teaching myself photography if your on the edge the only other camera that is easier to use with a lot of how to videos is the canon m50

First experience with mirrorless, but have had multiple Canon Dslrs before. Most obvious is the size. Very handy to use, store and carry. May take slight adjustment if used to large cameras. Photos are great with automode. For the more serious/experienced ones, there are multiple settings and adjustments. There are also some lens adapters to use old lenses. The usual, and good Canon menu interface and build. Overall, good for most users.

This is a great camera for travel. We wanted a camera that had close to the same specs as my wife’s larger Cannon and this worked perfectly. We wanted something that would be compact for travel but not lose out on quality and this worked perfect. It easily fits in a back pack for hiking and light weight to carry around. Yes it not going to be the same as her Cannon 6d but this isn’t a replacement and wouldn’t expect it to perform like that. But like it I said, this is a camera that I can use for travel and still able to get great photos.

Finally worth an upgrade from my M3

My M3 has traveled around the world with me due to its compact size and lens interchangeability. I was totally invested in the EF-M line of lenses having all but the 15-45. This M6 Mark II has me realize what I’ve been missing in not upgrading since I got the M3 after it launched. I think I’ll be set for a few more years with the better video and sensor. Love the layout too!

After watching dozens of videos and reviews/comparisons online, I decided to get this camera for my wife, so that she can take pictures of her art and vlogging. I was surprised that such a small camera (and being a Crop sensor) takes as good or better pictures as my Full Frame (Nikon Z6). Very happy with the camera and money well spent. Has all the features you would ever need and the fact that it is a Crop sensor does not make it any less. 4k quality is impressive!

Great camera for the beginner consumer who wants to take it to the next step.
I use it mostly for videography. Excellent 4k videos for the price.
Moreover, Canon has its distinct vibrant colors. Therefore, the shot videos do not need color grading most of the time.
It is also nice for photography. But if you want to use it for professional photography, I'd recommend you buy a better lens or perhaps a higher grade camera.

I own an online fitness business and needed a high quality camera in a reasonable price range. The EOS M6 does not disappoint! It goes above and beyond my expectations. It does everything I need it to do and more with great quality photos and videos. I highly recommend giving this camera a shot. Very impressed!!

It's a love/hate relationship with a new camera. Yes, it's a very good camera but...for someone like me it has two very critical flaws: it times out after I think it's 30 minutes and even though this is pretty standard among cameras, this is incredibly annoying for a YouTuber; second critical flaw in this camera is that the screen only flips upward and must be perfectly flat against back to flip screen view, which is a nuisance when trying to run with lights and mic. Someday maybe there will be a quality camera with 180° screen rotation and that won't time out or overheat after 30 continuous minutes of recording time. Until then, this camera is the bee's knees.

Great little mirrorless camera! Great for everyday use. I've used for portraits, wildlife and sports photography. Only reason it isn't 5 stars is the battery life .

I switched over from an old Canon 60d to this and I love it. Very easy to use. Not too sure on specifics but I could record on the highest settings on the 60d no problem but my old SD in this camera wasn't up to it. So definitely upgrade your SD too if you making a similar jump, but overall you will definitely not be disappointed

This is a great little camera that can produce fantastic images. Unfortunately only the prime lenses from Canon/sigma really help this camera to achieve its potential. Focus is fast, shutter speed is fast, the resolution is amazing for an APSC camera.

This camera takes crystal clear photos. While it also shoots 4k video, there is no video stabilization, so you will absolutely need to use a gimbal for video. Aside from that, it has been a fantastic addition to the family of cameras!!

I bought this for my son, who has been into photography for a few years now, and he loves it. Mirrorless seems to be a great way to go, quieter than a standard DSLR and the quality is great. Shoot RAW, to be able to do some decent editing in Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom. There are better models for sure, but this one is a good entry level mirrorless camera, and all of his DSLR lenses work with it.

Stunning Video & Rapid Shots

Canon's EOS M6 Mark II Mirrorless camera can compete with any 4k capable camera in the industry simply because of it's autofocus and smoothness. Filming fast moving targets it never a challenge even when the camera is trying to focus itself with no user behind it and myself coming in and out of frame. I had the camera on a tripod while I filmed myself running with my dog and I was always tracked correctly. When I moved on to handheld it was even smoother as I was able to choose the focus point as my subject moved along.
The included lens in this kit was good enough for my use especially since it has a wide enough depth of field and got zoom capability without distorting the image at the corners. If you need a more capable lens for a certain type of video or photography, you can easily swap it out but just make sure it'll fit the camera body.
One incredible feature of this camera is the burst rate. Holy cow are you able to burn through the memory and battery life with how fast shots are taken. I nearly depleted my entire battery life in 1 hour of shooting with burst mode. The images captured however are priceless. You never miss a good shot because you have so many to choose from and they are all clear and detailed to please the eye even if you aren't a good photographer. The camera will do all the work for you if you want it to.
One downside to this camera that I found quite annoying was the electronic view finder. It is bulky and needs to be attached. The camera itself doesn't have one. I found myself not using it most times and just using the screen because it wasn't convenient. Don't get me wrong, it is useful at times but not for my own liking.
Overall I love this Canon Mirrorless camera. It has more pros than cons by a long shot in my opinion. It is easy to adapt to if you already own a Canon camera and connectivity is as simple as ever. I connect to my phone hotspot for easy uploading even though I do prefer to transfer to a computer with a cable I still like that option of being able to transfer onto my phone for the social media. The camera is small, light, has great video capabilities, and captures amazing photos. This is all only with the kit but I'm sure expanding your lens collection will greatly improve the experience. I am very happy with my new mirrorless and I would highly recommend this option for anyone in the market for a more than capable video and high burst camera.

The M6 mark ii is the top camera in the m series, more robust & capable than the M5 & M50. It's rapid frame rate & electronic shutter are impressive. Avoid the 15-45 kit lens & invest in the high quality ef-m 22 or 32 from Canon, or the newly released Sigma 1.4 primes, to fully utilize it's potential
