Very happy with our purchase. Works well with all of our lenses Tamron, Sigma, and Canon L Series. I did experience vignette/Halo problems with Tamron and Sigma lenses. Simple fix - In settings, turn "Peripheral illumination correction" off. The fix is found in the lens aberration correction menu #2 - peripheral illum corr - turn off

I’ve been waiting for the camera, since it released 2 years ago. And finally I found this camera for the perfect price I had to purchase it. I was so excited to get my hands on this camera. It’s been such an upgrade to my photography! Although I am only a hobbyist! I can’t wait to full dive in and experience some great shots with the EOS R!

Contemplated for years switching to Sony but canon really did a great job with this one. The EVF is so awesome even at the expensive of some battery life. Extremely light and well built body. If you’re a serious/professional photographer, it’s an awesome upgrade into the next generation of canon bodies. Currently only using L lenses but all features are compatible and fast with the adapter ring.

My husband was running into issues with his canon 5d mark iii and was looking to upgrade. It was between this and the 4d. Luckily the salesperson was super knowledgeable about the eos r and sold us on this camera. Love it so far.

This was the PERFECT camera for me! It is my first full frame camera, so I didn’t want to get something overly expensive, but I still wanted a bit more detail to my photos than I was getting from my cropped sensor camera! I ordered it via the Best Buy app & picked it up the next day. Service was fast & friendly as usual!

Easy to use menu function, great AF tracking (be sure to download firmware), excellent color for people photos, awesome presets (Landscape) for color saturation! Slim profile and feels great in the hand! Bought the 15-35 wide-angle zoom and it's amazing!

I bought this camera when it first came out but returned it after 2 weeks. Since then, Canon has chugged out some impressive firmware updates and face/eye tracking are now respectable. In fact, the only shortcoming I see at this point is the drop in frame rate when continuous tracking is activated. For mod users, however, this is probably not going to be an issue. In any ev, you get access to the incredible RF lenses that Canon has created for this camera. Win!

The Canon R is a great camera with good color science and a lot of nice features. The two drawbacks I would say are no stabilization and only a single card slot. It is a good, solid camera otherwise.

It is a Canon. If you have ever used one this will feel like an ipold friend. New to Canon? It is the number one selling camera for a reason. Easy to use, comfortable in the hand. This new mirrorless model is my favorite. Sony gets better reviews but I didn’t find that to be the case. Love the photos that come straight out of the EOS R

As a food and product photographer, I knew I needed to upgrade my Canon Rebel camera and was originally torn between the R5 and R6... But, I am thrilled that I chose the R to continue creating amazing art.

I recently made the switch to mirrorless, and I am so happy that I did with the EOS R. FANTASTIC photos, light body, intuitive features. Highly recommend getting the lens adapter so you can use your old lenses with it as well.

After working with a 5d Mark IV for 2 years, I feel this camera extremely familiar, yet weird because of its small size. Ok for my hands, but I believe someone with bigger hands will find this camera to be a little challenging. Love the focusing with the screen option. Too bad it does not have a secondary card slot. I’ve heard that since it’s lacking that secondary card slot it’s not a Professional camera.... but a camera does not make a photographer. Creativity does.

I really enjoyed the EOS R but unfortunately, I had to return it due to issues I was having with my third party lenses. When I used the lens mount adapter with Canon EF lenses it worked great. Spot on and my first gen 70-200 L lens seemed to work better with the EOS-R than my 5D Mark IV. It was pretty great. My problems arrived when I tried to use the lens mount adapter with third party lenses like the Tamron V2 glass. My focus was off in a big way. No matter what I did this kept happening. Canon said that the V2 lenses should work just fine with the lens Mount Adapter but with no avail they didn't. I can say if you are using this adapter with Canon EF, EFS or more likely R-Mount lenses it's going to give you flawless results but with third party glass, my experiences were bad enough for me to return both the camera and adapter. I can't give it a bad rating due to my experience since it worked wonderfully with my Canon glass. I can how ever say that I could not get over the odd layout of the controls. I use a 5D Mark IV for my business and the control layout is masterful to say the least. I don't have to think about it at all to adjust any settings on my camera but with the EOS-R I was having some major trouble from the screen to adjust focus points to the slider. It has amazing eye auto focus and the fact that there is a cover to the sensor when removing lenses that just is awesome. For some the EOS-R will be the only camera they ever need and I even know a lady who traded her pro level DSLR camera in for an EOS-r for her business. You can make it work but for me I think waiting for what takes the place of the 5D Mark IV is going to be the best option.

This is a very underrated choice. The photo quality is super good and the video is comparable to some cinema cameras. Overall this and a good lens can stack up to most cameras coming out today.

Upgraded from a Rebel and so far am very pleased. The auto focus is night and day different. I used to miss focus on my kids quite often on the Rebel, but with the EOS R most shots are crisp.
