Huge upgrade, love the color science and the crazy blazing fast shutter speed. I like that the sensor is covered by a mechanical shutter when switching lenses. I love how lightweight the new camera is! I like that the camera has two card slots! The grip of this camera is awesome as well. The cons battery life, especially using the older batteries as back up from the 6d mk ii days. Other than that i can’t complain. Also not to mention, I own a few ef l series lenses. It’s nice that the lens are working nicely with the camera with the rf/ef dapter.

2nd purchase of this camera that fills out my gear for both indoor and outdoor sports. The big advantage is the excellent handling of low light sports (gym or nighttime sports) Even combined with my RF 100-500 lens at F4, this camera does amazing, even beating out my Canon R5 setup. Pair with a RF 70-200 Z lens and the crazy fast focus tracking and it simply has no real weaknesses. If you're on the fence and want much better low light performance than the R5, do yourself a favor, save some money and pick up the R6 Mkii

You’ve been doing the research. Still on the fence. You want to make a big investment but unsure where to start. Whether beginners or tenured, this body is top quality. Simple to use. Easy to learn. The cannon line is known for being the best, this is the middle of the road unit you’ll love!

The Canon R6 Mark II is hands down the best camera I’ve ever used. Everything about it feels like it was built to make creating easier, faster, and better. The autofocus is absolutely incredible—it feels like it reads my mind. Whether I’m shooting people, animals, or action, it locks on instantly and doesn’t let go. I’ve never had so much confidence that every single shot is going to come out sharp. The image quality is stunning. The colors are rich, the dynamic range is fantastic, and even in low light this camera delivers super clean, detailed files. Pair that with the 40 fps burst mode, and it feels like I can capture moments that would’ve been impossible before. Video is just as impressive. 4K60 with no crop, 6K RAW, and reliable recording with no overheating—it’s like having a professional video rig in my hands without the bulk. On top of all that, the camera just feels amazing to use. The ergonomics, button layout, and menus are intuitive and smooth. It honestly feels like an extension of me when I’m shooting, and that’s what makes it so special. In short: the R6 Mark II is a beast. Canon really nailed it with this one, and I couldn’t be happier with the results it’s giving me.

I’m a total beginner when it comes to photography, and the Canon R6 Mark II has made me feel like I’ve got a secret weapon for taking portraits! I’m honestly shocked at the photos I’ve been able to pull off with this camera. It’s like it knows exactly what I’m trying to do and makes it happen. The autofocus is unreal—it grabs onto people’s faces so fast, even when the lighting’s weird, like at sunset or indoors with dim lamps. My portraits come out looking so sharp and vibrant, with skin tones that just feel alive. What I love most is how this camera makes me feel like I can actually do this photography thing. I was nervous starting out, but the controls are so easy to figure out, and the menu doesn’t make my head spin. I’m learning as I go, playing with light and angles, and the R6 Mark II just keeps up, giving me shots that make my friends go, “Wait, YOU took this?” It’s seriously boosted my confidence and got me hooked on capturing people’s expressions and moments. If you’re new to photography like me and want a camera that’s forgiving but still delivers pro-level portraits, this is the one. I’m obsessed and can’t imagine using anything else!

The Canon R6 Mark II has been great so far. It has awesome build quality, is super easy to use, and has plenty of useful features. I've been using it with a 50mm and it’s a really versatile and balanced setup for everyday shooting.

This is my first serious camera and I bought it mainly to get into real estate photography. I paired it with the Canon RF 15-35mm f/2.8L lens and the combination has been awesome. The camera is easy to learn while still giving me plenty of room to grow as I get more experienced. I’ve been shooting bracketed photos for HDR and have been really impressed with the image quality, detail, and colors. Autofocus is fast and the camera feels great in the hand. I’m still learning everything it can do, but so far I’m extremely happy with my purchase. Definitely a camera I can see myself using for years.

After my last purchase 5 years ago , I thought my 1DX mk ll would be the last camera I would purchase. But after seeing what this r6 mk ll can do it totally changed my mind. Being mainly a sport photographer I needed a camera that has a fast focusing system, large frames per seconds , clear images and affordable! This camera has it all! The Wi fi is a plus! So, if your looking to purchase a camera or upgrade this is would be a good choice! You won't be disappointed!!

Review as a hobbies. I picked up the R10 to get back into photography. Years ago I had a Nikon DSLR and missed the capability of a stand alone camera. The R10 felt limited and not as robust as I wanted so I swapped it out for the R6 MK II. This body has been fantastic. Great feature to make it easy to use out of the box and plenty of room to learn and grow. Lens selection works fo the native RF mount. Maybe not the most economical. I cannot speak to the EF to RF adaptor, but know plenty that use it and have had success.

I bought this camera for my own use. I really like it—it has great autofocus and isn’t too heavy to handle. I got it with the Canon RF 50mm f/1.8 lens, and I’m happy with the photos it takes. I recommend it to anyone looking to take photos professionally or just for personal use.
