We previously owned the Canon EOS R10, but decided it was time for an upgrade...oh what an upgrade this is! This camera takes the most amazing photos, it's easy to use, and although expensive, we already feel like it's worth the investment. If you've been debating on this purchase, don't - you won't regret it!

Coming from a 5d Mark 4 this is really amazing. The autofocus alone is worth the asking price. Mainly used for photo. I noticed it does breathe new life into my older EF lenses and the images are sharp more times than not. Build quality feels pretty good. Not as good as the 5d Mark 4 or even the R3 but it should hold up well. I have normal sized hands and this does feel a tiny bit small in them which may be an issue on long wedding days but there are 3 different grips you could add onto this camera. Overall it was time for me to go mirrorless but still miss the amazing ergonomics of the Mark4.

Love it so far . So much to learn. So many capabilities. Feels great in the hand and has so many options for combining manual function with auto settings !

I purchased the Canon R5 II and traded my Canon R7, for my Wildlife photography! I had the Canon R7 since it came out, even though it was a good camera it had flaws. After using the Canon R5 original from a friend, I decided that the Canon R5 II was a better choice for what I do. Once I setup the Canon R5 II the way I like to photograph Wildlife, this camera has all the toys and whistles on my budget that I could dream about. I already have the Canon 100-500mm lens and with this camera is a great combination. Is it completely perfect, no! The price, the extra battery and Best Buy unique buy back program was perfect for my need.

The Canon R5 Mark II is incredible. It's genuinely a quality camera, I love it a lot. For me, it's been a steep learning curve, but after a couple of weeks of reading the manuals and books on the R5 II, I can see daylight. The photos are truly of gallery quality. Team this up with Canon's high-quality lens, and it's hard to beat. 45MP and 8K video, this is like driving a race car.

The M2 is a slight upgrade to the M1. I shoot wildlife, so the biggest improvement is that the stacked sensor allows for faster focusing of moving objects, though high ISO performance may be a bit worse that the M1. The GPS pairing via Canon Camera Connect app still doesn't work well for me; my 10-year old 7D M2 still captures GPS data without an app, so this is the biggest disappointment. Overall I'm pretty happy with the upgrade: I seem to be able to get more keepers shooting animals from flying birds to tiny insects.

For my workflow needs, this camera is perfection! I got one on release so the delays with shipping additional units did not impact me. Additionally, there is a big concern over the updated battery, however, since this is my first Canon camera, I did not have a surplus of the other batteries so I am also insulated from that issue. Overall, the MP sizing, video codecs, user friendly UI/menu system and excellent ergos make this camera my dream camera incarnate. It will serve me well for years to come as I don’t plan on upgrading and will open up all the beautiful RF glass I have.

I upgraded from the Canon EOS R5 and was skeptical at first. They eyeball autofocus as well as precapture and action priority modes made this well worth the upgrade! And this is just to name a few! Canon has done it again!
