Great camara for photography,Great quality for video but it overheats if u keep recording continues 60fps 4K for 30 for long interview not recommended for short or stopping video is great

I’m a professional photographer and upgraded from the Mark IV. I love the R5 so far! It’s lightweight and works beautifully. The colors don’t seem to off from the Mark IV in post processing, so editing has been a breeze!

This was an upgrade from my canon 5d mark3. And boy, it didn’t disappoint. The eye detection is on point and makes it so much easier to get the shot. The colors are beautiful and it’s so much smaller and lighter too.

I'm glad Canon finally came up with a mirrorless camera to match the quality of is lenses. The autofocus is tenacious at sticking to a subject. The camera also just feels great in the hand. That was really my only complaint about the Sonys. They never quite fit my hand right.

This is a phenomenal camera but it offers far more than most people need! Unless you are a professional shooter or perhaps advanced hobbyist you will never have a need for all it has to offer! The R6 will serve the needs of most - unless you are printing billboards or heavily cropping images.

"Go big or go home" was my motto for buying this over the R6, however if you're only looking to upgrade for photography only, you will be just as pleased with the R6. If you have the money, the extra MP might be a nice to have for you.

As a professional photographer for over 25 years, the switch to mirrorless was not something I wanted to do. However the canon R5 absolutely was the best quality option at this time to start to use mirrorless instead of DSLR technology. The R5 produces superb quality images, great video quality, and ultra fast focusing. If you are a professional photographer, or someone with alot of extra money and looking for a superb digital camera this is absolutely something you should consider.

Replaced an old 50D body with this one. You will need an adapter to use your old glass but this body can do just about anything. Using it for sports and rarely do I miss the shot anymore, the speed of this machine is amazing.

This camera is one of the best purchases I've ever made! The pictures are out of this world! After a few hours familiarizing myself with all the features I can say this camera has incredible imaging performance for portraits, landscapes, and wildlife.

This is a great camera, professional quality results. works with RF lenses and all my old EF lenses. just with Canon would allow 3rd party lens manufactures to make lenses for the RF system.

I have been using this camera for a lot of sporting events both in low light and broad daylight. This is by far my favorite camera and i recommed it to anyone that wants to do sports photography.
