My dream camera and I expected nothing less and got it all! So excited for the adventures ahead with it!

I was nervous about the upgrade coming from a 5D Mark III, but this camera is lightweight, and the quality of the images are amazing. I'm glad I upgraded my equipment.

Excellent camera for wildlife photography. Has excellent focus choices, including eye detection. Has all the bells and whistles. 45 mg pixels. Full frame. Mirrorless.

I'm not a photographer, i brought this for my boyfriend since he is into photo/scenery shoot. He had shown me the pictures of he shot and it looks super clean and sharp. The pixels are on point (not sure if it helps)

As a professional photographer, I must say that this is the best body I have ever used in my career. Yes, it is expensive. Yes, it is a complex machine. Yes, I’m glad I bought it. Paired with RF glass, the images are stunningly sharp.

Love this camera. Just learning it still. A beginner photographer. Takes great night time pictures of Christmas lights. So I know it does great night time pictures. All I have is the nifty 50. Can’t wait to get more.

Absolutely love this camera. Great high quality images, superb low light, great stabilization. You can't beat it for the price.

Finally went mirrorless. Takes great pics as all Canon cameras do. Video is very easy to use also unlike my older 60D.

A great upgrade from the 5D IV, focus is wonderful, the colors are beautiful, IBIS is amazing, hand held as low as 1/10th of a second.

The best Canon camera. Better than 5D Mark IV and 1DX Mark II. Autofocus is amazing. Beautiful pictures right out of camera. All I can say is WOW!

If you're looking for a full time video camera, this may not be the camera for you. As a high resolution stills camera, it's superb. The eye autofocus is a pleasure to use as I just need to worry about composition.

This camera is exactly what I was looking for when I decided to upgrade my gear! So far its worth every penny..

After shooting SLRs (film and digital) for over 40 years I was reluctant to move to a mirrorless. So far I have been very impressed by the R5. One of my concerns was over AF performance. I have been very impressed by the speed and accuracy of the AF. A Second concern I had was whether my EF lenses would be as sharp when used on the R5 and an RF to EF adapter. I have not seen any reduction in sharpness and the added bonus is that the IBIS has given new life to my non-IS lenses, like my EF 24-70 f/2.8L. I'm still adapting to a non-optical viewfinder, but the additional information available is helpful. Only negative for me has been the elimination of some of the physical buttons that I used frequently, that are now functions within the menu system.
