I totaly recommend getting this camera. As a hybrid photographer, both photo and video modes help me get beautiful results. A full frame camera with IBIS at this price is worth it. I’m a events photographer and this camera has been a game changer since I got it. Plus, by getting it with my Best Buy membership i got my product covered with a warranty. Do not hesitate getting one.

The R6 Mark ii will improve your photography

I upgraded from the Canon 6D Mark ii, and I cannot even describe how much more incredible my photos are. I sell my photos professionally and the comparison of shots and prints I took on my 6D (which were still great quality) compared to ones of my R6 mark ii are just insane, even without using expensive lenses. Everything from the crispness of the shots to the colors and perfect saturation (which helps with post-editing) to the controls of the camera itself. I can go so much faster when taking shots just because of the organization of the buttons on the camera body. I would highly recommend this camera to those looking for an upgrade from the previous generation, or wanting something higher quality without breaking the bank. This camera and price is a STEAL in my book. Thanks Canon!

This camera has incredible auto-focus capabilities. It is more lightweight than my DSLR, and I love that I can use the adapter to still be able to use my EF lenses. It is the preferred camera for many professionals and I am glad I made the switch to mirrorless.

Excellent camera, particularly for those transitioning from DSLRs. It delivers fast, reliable performance for both photography and video, with an impressive optical simulation mode that’s useful in a wide range of lighting conditions. While I still rely on my DSLRs, this model is a fantastic complement for long-time DSLR users looking to modernize their setup. I highly recommend sticking with EF lenses and using the adapter—they work great!

Upgraded from a Canon 5D Mark IV and it has been a fantastic decision. My original reason for upgrading was to leverage more advanced video auto focusing capabilities. However, I have found the benefits to be far greater than just newer video capabilities. The advanced connectivity provided by Canon Camera Connect on your iPhone is really cool! It allows you to have remote live capture control on your iPhone or iPad! It is as if you’re looking through the viewfinder on your phone. You can control the aperture, exposure time, iso, etc etc. It’s unbelievable! So cool! The touch screen on the camera itself is much more responsive too. Also, the lithium ion large capacity batteries associated with new R series cameras are great. They charge very quickly and last quite a long time during shooting. Overall I am happy with my decision to upgrade. I hope this review helps someone else who was also in the fence about making the investment to move up to the R series from their Canon 5D Mark IV. Good job Canon and thank you!

Same great build to be expected by Canon. The additional few megapixels make a significant difference for me when cropping. I'm not a huge fan of them relocating the on/off switch, but it's something I'll get used to. I recommend this camera 100%.

Just bought this camera a few weeks ago. Easy to use, pictures are awesome. Image quality is great, battery life is very good, scene selection feature is a great add. Wish it came with more AF native lenses.

Excellent camera with advanced features. Easy to use. Beautiful pictures with the right lens. I used the 24-105 f4. Slightly larger than what wanted to carry for travel but the pictures are worth it.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better camera! I upgraded from a canon r100 for sports photography and this shoots at 40fps making my job a lot easier! The quality is fantastic, it’s very light, would recommend 10/10 times!

Review as a hobbies. I picked up the R10 to get back into photography. Years ago I had a Nikon DSLR and missed the capability of a stand alone camera. The R10 felt limited and not as robust as I wanted so I swapped it out for the R6 MK II. This body has been fantastic. Great feature to make it easy to use out of the box and plenty of room to learn and grow. Lens selection works fo the native RF mount. Maybe not the most economical. I cannot speak to the EF to RF adaptor, but know plenty that use it and have had success.

WOW! I didn't think it could get better but I'm very impressed by the quality of the pictures. The eye tracking just works beyond expectations. I'm getting a lot more keepers. It's much smaller than the 5D and feels a bit more "plasticey" but makes up in everything else. The AF tracking is fast, shutter speed is fantastic, especially when using the 40fps electronic shutter. I bought it on sale for $2300...had I waited I should have grabbed the R5.

The Canon R6 Mark II truly raises the standard for content creators. Its autofocus is lightning-fast and precise, perfect for capturing fleeting moments, whether in sports or events. The 24.2 MP sensor delivers impressive image quality, with excellent dynamic range and solid performance in low-light conditions. In video, it records in 4K up to 60fps without cropping, offering incredible flexibility in post-production. Plus, the eye and subject detection autofocus is outstanding—it almost feels like the camera thinks for you. The body is sturdy, comfortable to hold during long sessions, and the in-body image stabilization works spectacularly. If you’re looking for a versatile camera that performs equally well in photo and video, the R6 Mark II is an investment worth every penny. Canon truly knocked it out of the park with this one!

I recently purchased the Canon EOS R6 II from Best Buy, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. This camera is a game-changer! The image quality is outstanding, even in low light, and the autofocus is lightning-fast and precise. I don't use it for video, but I hear that's amazing as well. What made the experience even better was the amazing help I received at Best Buy. The associates were incredibly knowledgeable about the R6 II, patiently answering all my questions about features, lenses, and accessories. They helped me compare options and even gave me tips on how to get the most out of the camera. Their expertise made me feel confident in my purchase. If you’re considering the Canon EOS R6 II or need advice on camera gear, I highly recommend heading to Best Buy. The camera is phenomenal, and the team there truly cares about helping you make the right choice!
