I have really enjoyed this camera. Color is amazing. I have been using mostly for film and the quality is outstanding.

After shooting SLR and DSLR for the last three decades, this is my first mirrorless camera. First the good. The Canon menus are intuitive and easier than ever to navigate with touch controls and the familiar layout. My lenses are all compatible with the adapter I purchased - and autofocus seems just as fast as when coupled with my old bodies. The ability to focus is assisted in the dark with the RF beam and I found this to be amazing and get more in focus shots than previously possible at wedding receptions. Now the “meh”. The autofocus system required me to work extensively to find the settings best for me. I did not like the “eye” autofocus as I found it hurts composition as I’m looking around. Also, the back screen can be touched while looking through the viewfinder to focus, but I find it almost unusable in situations where speed is necessary - despite the innovation, center focus is still best. And now my complaint - the camera has banding in the images. This was enough to deduct one star because I cannot have banding in a professional setting. I’ve gone online now and discovered I’m not alone. It is not every shot, but, it’s enough that you could miss a moment if you are a single shooter. I plan on contacting canon to see if anything will be done in a future firmware update. Despite the banding, it’s a solid camera with great innovation. If you are upgrading from the 5d mkiv - it’s a nice next step.

Bought this on a whim not realizing it's only 20 megapixels. Don't want to return or exchange because Canon charges 15% restocking fee. Think twice before buying canon. Full frame or any other crop ratios. A lot of useful features. Shoots fast. Great image quality. RF lens expensive. Eats batteries when shooting videos, servo, continous AF, or image stabilizations. At $2,500 it should be more than 20 megapixels.

This camera is absolutely amazing. Lightning quick, amazing results, use it more for photography rather than video

Has been the best camera I’ve ever had. We really have given it much use traveling international and it has endured many environments: never had any issues

i love this full frame. If you're doing video then this is not for you, it overheats and doesnt let you record more than 54min continusly

Excellent camera. As advertised. Default mp4 color grading is beautiful. Raw photos super sharp. Same menu as most other canon cameras. 2 memory card slots, feels like a $2,000 camera not a plastic toy. Shutter button is smooth and requires minimal force. I love this camera

Camera overheats constantly when shooting videos just get the R6 2 they supposed to have fixed that great image & video quality tho

I purchased this camera to replace my Canon 5D mark III. It is much lighter with the 50mm f1.8 lens. So it is convenient for me to carry around. I mainly use it to take pics of my son. The auto focus is a big plus when you have a child always moving.

OMG! I love this camera!! I was using the Canon 5D Mark IV and they pair really well together for video.

AWESOME camera! Purchased for my girlfriend's birthday, the camera quality is superb equipped with my old EF lens. The auto eye focus is superiors to my old 5D Mark II. I just love it! Great camera, worth every penny!

Birthday gift from my wife! I've been wanting the mirrorless Canon EOS R6 for the last year. Since this camera is new on the market, Canon only a gave a $100 discount for all/most retail sales. Best Buy, however, tracked my visits to their site to check out the camera and just before my birthday, they sent me an email offering an additional $200 off! I forwarded it to my wife and the R6 arrived in time for my birthday!

Great camera takes great action shots. Used for my sons football game and pictures came out great.
