Customers are saying
Customers are delighted by the EOS R6's exceptional image quality, impressive low-light performance, and remarkably fast autofocus, frequently praising its ease of use and lightweight design. However, some users have reported issues with overheating, particularly during extended video recording, and shorter than expected battery life. A few also mentioned the camera's higher price point.

Worth the money!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Soooo glad I made the switch from full-frame. I still use my 6d mark I as backup, but this mirrorless camera is crisp and like none other. Not to mention the new RF lenses are so lightweight. Definitely had a small learning curve when getting used to the digital viewfinder and such, but other than that- it was a seamless transition!

Terrific Pictures, Instant Response
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife is the camera buff in the family. She used a Canon 80D for the past 4 years and was ready for an upgrade. This shoots incredibly clear images, noticeably better than the 80D (which was great), especially in lower light. With the adapter, she is able to continue to use her 400 and 600 lenses. If you can afford it, mirrorless is the way to go!

Great!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have 2 Canon 5D Mark iii. They are fantastic cameras- but I needed to upgrade and get with the modern technology. Mirrorless, auto-follow face focus and level adjustment availability. Really love it! Use it mainly for videos.

Great upgrade to the R if money is no problem.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.More than Doubled the frames per second and much improved ISO over the EOS R. I am very happy with my purchase. Day shooting is faster and night shooting has greatly improved ISO performance gives me less grain in the pictures at much higher ISO. Quality of day shots are no better, but I do like getting 10+ frames per second.

R6
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was torn between the R5 and the R6, for the value, the R6 is a perfect fit for me. So happy I went with the R6. It blows my old EOS 6D out of the water and is powerful enough for video, and takes amazing photos!

What a camera
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This camera is amazing. The mechanical shutter is fast, but the electric shutter will blow you away. Further the the automatic focus features in this camera will take your photography to the next level and make for more great shots. Don’t forget to pick up a lens adaptor if you have older EF lenses.

Disappointed in Best Buy
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m a 5D Mark IV owner, and I was looking for a camera that would be better in low light especially for sports photography. The R6 is a high quality camera, and it is better in low light than the 5D Mark IV. It is also better equipped to handle fast action. However, I need more megapixels than the R6, so I will trade up to the R5. I WILL BUY IT FROM B&H OR ADORAMA, NOT BEST BUY THOUGH BECAUSE THE RESTOCKING FEE IS RIDICULOUS AT BEST BUY. IF YOU’RE GOING TO SELL CAMERAS, YOU SHOULD HAVE COMPARABLE RETURN POLICIES AS CAMERA STORES.

Overheating issue
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only issue that I have with this camera is over heating. I decided to test it out by running my 5d mark 4 at the same time and after about 30 minutes, my r6 was overheating and ready to shut down while my 5d mark 4 continue running for at least 50-60 mins without overheating.
