The Perfect Camera for the Job!

This camera has helped my business grow so fast! For the last few weeks, I’ve been using this camera to help a used car dealership in Tempe, AZ, called LeSueur Car Company, to have a little bit more reach on their social media platforms! The images are crisper/sharper, and I’ve been able to successfully learn more for my own business!

Recently purchased an R8, I must say this is a great all around camera! Lightweight, fast auto focus and images are sharp! For the price you can’t beat it. Pair it with some RF glass and you are good to go!

Great product! Coming from a DLSR camera to my first mirrorless camera I’ve enjoyed the range of this camera. Great video capabilities and the auto focus is a major plus

This is an excellent camera body to use for all types of different photography. Fast, sharp autofocus comes in handy. Also, the higher iso works well in lower light situations indoors. Just keep an eye on the internal temps as it can run hot, especially outdoors on a hot day. The R7 is a better choice for that. All in all, i really like it and have considered buying a second body.

Great camera, it has autofocus system from a $6000 pro camera and other features from its bigger brother EOS R6 Mark II. The only downside are the poor battery life, heating issue with 4k60 video, and it only has 1 card slot (I wouldn’t use it for client work such has wedding). It is perfect for still photography for intermediate and entry level photographer or pro that need a backup second camera.

I have used the R8 for a few months now and it has improved my photography. It is easy to use and feels good in the hand. Video is also very clear and fun to use paired with the correct sd card.

I finally moved up to full frame after many years of shooting Canon APS-C cameras and collecting a decent amount of EF lenses. The RF (and EF-RF) adapter truly unlock the next level of photo/video. There are so so many more features and settings than the camera I came from (SL1) and a learning curve, but it's a camera to grow into. Impressive still and video quality from such a small and light camera is amazing. It's perfect for traveling with a little 28mm RF pancake lens. Truly a great step-up.

Absolute Bang for the Buck purchase. After doing lots of homework on these cameras, the jump from this camera really is the Canon R5 M2. In other words, the R6 doesn't really justify the difference in price. As many experts would say; in this case, spend the difference in the price on a stellar lens instead of the R6. So your lens will cost more than the body...Sure its not typical, but when you decide to spend 3 times the money...get the R5 and just move the lens over to that body. For now...get the R8. The colors are spot on. Its super quick. touch screen display alleviates the joystick and wheel. A second battery is important, but still less than buying the R6. Looking back Canon probably wishes they hadn't made this camera so good.

Great camera all around. Compact, but sturdy since it’s made in Japan. It’s got the sensor of the R6 Mk II, so images focus quickly and look great.

I am transitioning from an R6 and this feels fantastic it's a super small size and the image quality is spectacular. Battery life is no where near as bad as people may lead you to believe. Still worth grabbing a second battery though, two is one and one is none.

Absolutely incredible value for what it is. I'm coming to the R8 from an R5 and I was worried I'd be disappointed in one way or another but I find myself using this more than the R5. Image quality is great, as is video quality. I love that its just a tad smaller in all dimensions compared to the R5 for traveling.

This camera takes stunning images, is very compact and lightweight. I like that I don't have to sacrifice quality on such a small camera and don't mind brining it with me lots of places because it's fairly inconspicuous.

The Canon EOS R8 is the camera that I needed to replace my heavier EOS 5D MkIII. I’ve loved my 5D MkIII but I am requiring equipment that is much lighter. I cannot lug my camera and heavier L lenses around like I did in my younger days. I’ve used the R8 just a short while, but I have to admit that it is exactly what I was looking for. I’m not a professional photographer, so this camera is more than enough to meet my needs. I typically take photos on vacation and this camera offers me more than enough technology for my needs.
