Used an older Rebel T5 for years, so this was definitely an upgrade. This camera takes incredible photos whether it’s far away or close up. The “scene” selector mode is my favorite to use, easily allowing me to swap settings and shoot what I want. Battery life has also been more than fine, no complaints. This camera also takes incredible video at 4K60. As a user of older models, this one is very easy to use and get the hang of. Very familiar functions and user friendly. Definitely would buy another similar to it or whatever canon produces in the future to replace this one when I’m ready to upgrade again.

wanted to upgrade from a nikon DSLR to a full frame mirrorless camera. very glad i chose this one, as i am really loving it so far. i'm an amateur photographer. i'll say this camera is fun to use and has many different menu options. transferring photos from your phone to your camera is pretty easy too. if you're in the market for an entry level full-frame camera, i'd recommend this one!

Great full frame camera with amazing autofocus and video quality. My only negative would be the battery life, which is manageable if you plan ahead and buy a spare battery. I’m not a huge fan of the included lens because of its aperture range, but it works great outdoors.

Absolutely fantasric camera, works phenomenal in low-light conditions. Feels very comfortable and preforms well. Battery life is decently long and can take uowards of 1000 or more photos. Ive never used a full battery while taking this out for photos.

Amazing!! I have zero complaints! Its great for experienced photographers, but also easy to learn for beginners. I moved from my nikon dslr to this camera and it’s better.

Still figuring out but so far easy to use..the manual can be found in their website (canon)..I love taking picture and videos, I enjoyed and still enjoying using this camera..

Great camera at its price point. Battery holds up well in light to medium use. I would prefer that they made the grip a little larger a accommodate a larger battery. Great photos.

I picked the R8 because it was the best bang for your buck for a full frame camera. So far it’s been great! Love the picture quality. It has become my go to camera. For wildlife etc.

The Canon R8 is an amazing piece of work. I have always enjoyed photography and have. Been using my phone years and sharing what I’ve captured on social media. Moving up to this camera has taken the experience of photography to a whole new level and the responses I am receiving from friends and family to the quality of what I am sharing is exciting and encouraging me to get out even more!

This is the first full frame sensor camera I must say wow. The images this thing captures is incredible. Every detail is crisp and visible. I have never shot in manual until I got this camera and I love it. It took me about a week to start understanding the settings, but I'm getting there.

Canon R8 definitely best budget full frame camera , i upgrade from eos RP . I can feel big differences improvement between R8 and RP, image quality , New Dual Pixel AF and more more new feature. Would definitely recommend.
