Easy to operate without a lot of instruction
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The quality of the pictures taken outside seem to be very good using the "camera settings" but I am not very happy with the quality of the indoor pictures. My daughter bought another Canon Model and her pictures taken at the same location as my camera were nice and clear whereas mine had a yellowish tint. I need to view the DVD to see if I can improve the quality of the indoor pictures by using manual settings. I am use to the quality of my old Canon 35 mm camera that takes great pictures.

Great DSLR camera for beginner or upgrading
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have shot hundreds of pictures already and the only bad ones were operator error, IE, not holding the camera steady or had the lens on manual and did not focus it. The camera works great in low light and with high ISO settings I can still get great pictures.

Works As Described
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this camera to try and get rid of my XSi and my Canon camcorder. I wanted to put all functions within one camera. However, if you are just shooting random videos, this works great. But if you are needing to use it for personal videos such as reviews, hot having a flip out screen is a deal breaker. If you are just looking for a great DSLR to take pictures and the occasional video of family, this is a perfect camera. I ended up getting the T5i.

Good camera, somewhat complex to use

Not totally what I wanted
