The camera takes great pictures and is easy to carry around

This is the first camera i bought and it is perfect.

This is a great camera to get your feet wet with taking pictures using a DSLR type of camera allowing you to take professional style photos. I would recommend that you invest in getting another telephoto lens that allows you to zoom in from farther away if you want to use the camera to take photos from a far away distance i.e. sporting events, graduation ceremonies, concerts, etc. The clarity and detail of the photos taken with this camera are immaculate!!! I use this camera for all of my cruise vacations and will be taking it with me next year for my trip to Barcelona, Spain, France and Naples, Rome in Italy.

In Novemeber i was bough Canon t3i, but after one month start glitch. I dedice exchanger for SL1. Much better than t3i. Exllent Size, Qualiy. And fast shooting.

I was recommended to this camera. I didn't want something for that high of a price but after the Rep at Best Buy showed me what I'll be getting in the package bundle for a lower than expected price. I couldn't say NO. I used it twice in 3 days and it takes the most amazing photos. I'm still adjusting to the setting but so far I'm doing something right. I haven't used the video feature as of yet. That's next on to do list. Yes a must buy even for beginners!!

I strive for perfection when it comes to technology.....and this is it! All of my worries disappeared. This replaced an older camcorder, and it takes better videos than I imagined. Also, picture quality is insane. They look like they belong in an art gallery. I am stunned so much can fit into such a little body.

This is so easy to use and handle. It takes great pictures without a lot of effort. So excited to learn all of its awesome features.

First, great camera. Remarkable pics and the presets are awesome and easy to master. Now let me talk about the single negative feature of this camera - the battery. It uses an LP-E12 battery which is not available through BestBuy - at all. It's not just out of stock. It isn't even carried by BestBuy. So if you want to pickup a spare (as would anyone) you are out of luck. You will need to find a 3rd party online battery seller and order it.

I love how simple it is to use this camera. The weight is perfect compare to others.

This is a great camera. Takes great photos. Gives you nice photos you expect from a DSLR but in a more compact camera. I would recommend this if its your first time using a DSLR or if you want one thats a bit smaller. The camera is great with keeping up with my 2 and 5 year olds.
