This is a great camera for beginners, easy to used and tells you what everything does to take a better picture. Takes great pictures and I still learning how to do it.

I absolutely love this camera, I ordered it to hopefully start a photography business and to learn how to use a more advanced camera. It takes great pictures, focuses pretty well also. I had purchased the 50mm f/1.8 lens to go with it.

Already own the SL1 and was thinking about upgrading own a lot of slr cameras but the smaller size and weight is important when you have to carry all day. Read reviews on the SL2 and decided since already have lenses just neede the body so when Best Buy had on sale decided to buy. Also this model has wifi which previous model didn't. It amazing to me that it's easier with wifi instead of taking out ad card to upload we have become a society of wanting instant uploads of photos.

This camera is amazing. It is so lightweight while still having nearly all the specifications of a full frame camera if not all the specifications of one. It also has a lot of benefits over full frame cameras, such as the flip-out screen and the auto focus during video is better than my Canon 6d was. It is also incredibly lightweight which is the reason I bought this camera. I have chronic hand problems and wanted to get a smaller camera with the hopes of being able to photograph more. I know I definitely will be able to with this tiny little thing! All of the lenses meant for a crop sensor camera are also so much lighter than a full frame camera which is another great benefit. This takes amazing photos I highly recommend it! The kit lens that comes with it's also pretty average, I would save the money and buy the 24 prime or the 10 to 18 instead .

This camera is amazing! I upgraded my body from the t3i to this because I wanted a smaller body. I hated how heavy the other camer was. This does the trick! Its amazing. The focusing is so fast! The touchscreen is a big help. I can’t wait to take this on trips!

Looked at the T6, T6I and Nikon and decided that this model was best for my needs. It has more then what I needed and performance better then expected.

For those who need choice in zoom and prime lenses way beyond a cell phone, this is it. Relatively small, tons of lense choices and very good specs. Has been a joy to have for family pics.

Glad that I finally upgraded from a 10+ year old EOS. Tech has come a long way. This is my work and these cameras are workhorses. I need something that is ready to go 24/7 rain or shine.

I've only had great experiences with the camera! I started with a canon rebel xs and I've had that for years and still works great. I will always choose canon from now on!

Excellent product very adaptable to photograph, the system video is very amazing in conditions low lights.

The SL2 is a good small dslr camera. It takes great pictures for the amount it costs.

Upgrade for a 12 year earlier version of the EOS. Ability to utilize other special lenses and accessories was a plus in our decision.
