Bought for my inspiring young daughter. Small in size for a DSLR, easy to use and great features... The touch screen even explains settings.

Initial , When I went to Best Buy I had the brand and model in mind but I ended up buying this because of the touch screen feature and a slightly lighter weight . Very compact and easy to use . I definitely would recommend it for a beginner

This is a great camera. I grew up around various digital and DSLR cameras, but never had one of my own. This is my very first one. I had done my research as to which one would best fit my needs, and I ended up choosing this one for the digital viewfinder that could be pulled out, the small body, and the wireless features. The small body was essential since I have small hands, and I use this for sports shots. The only thing I was disappointed about was that I ordered to pick up in store, choosing the white model. But I had arrived in store, I found out the computer made a mistake, and there were no white models left. I was going to an event right then where I needed the camera, or else I would have simply ordered online to ship to my house. I understand the return policy, and decided it wasn't worth it to any additional fees just to get another camera that would exactly the same way. I've only had this camera for about a few weeks, but I'm very happy with how easy it is to work and how great the pictures turn out.

Very nice camera love the size and how much it weights. Love how the pictures come out and the video. The only bad thing is that you cannot charge the camera while using it.

Wow this camera exceeded my expectations. I am a new dslr user and this camera is so easy to use. I like the fact the screen can flip out and the auto focus is outstanding. I am still learning about photography but is so easy to set up and use. This camera takes amazing pictures so crisp and clean.Great 1st dslr camera .

This is my first DSLR camera and I love it! The image quality is amazing and the video quality is outstanding as well. The AF is very good. This camera has a ton of built-in features and is a bargain at the price. If you're just getting into photography like myself, you don't have to look much further than this camera.

I purchased this camera as I had an earlier Canon model in the same series, but I needed a small camera to take to Ireland. I have been very pleased with its features and ease of use. It is smaller, lighter, and most importantly all of my lenses fit this camera so I find it to be exactly what I wanted.

I bought this for my girlfriend and she loves it! She’s always wanted a DSLR so I did some research and this was perfect for her. She also wants to make videos for YouTube and this also takes great video! I love the purchase I made and I would highly recommend it for someone who wants to do both.

Very easy DSLR to start out with for both photo and video. It’s light weight, very sturdy and smaller than the others from the rebel series. It’s also great if you want to send your images to your phone because it comes with WiFi.

Fast little DSLR, not bulky. Easy to take for travel and perfect for beginners. I use for family portraits, kids events, outings, etc. Love the vari angle touch screen that the sl1 did not have. Video is also excellent quality.

i haven't seen as high a quality product in a handy size before. It takes great pictures and works will with compatible lens and filters. The light weight and size make it easy to carry for long periods of time.

Wanted a camera with good low light capabilities and interchangeable lenses without being in over my head. The Feature Assistant is great for me as it allows me to choose camera settings without having to take lessons. In other words it's good for those, like me, that might not have much knowledge or don't want to learn the intricacies of photography.

I bought this camera with the intention of catching moments and memories of my family growing up without having to use my phone all the time. However, this camera has exceeded my expectations. As a beginner, the guided instructions make it so easy to navigate and learn. I love how quickly it captures photos as my baby will not sit still for very long. It does well in low lighting or bright lighting and the video quality is great as well. I definitely recommend purchasing this product for a beginner or more experienced photographer!

This camera is very light in weight. Very easy to use, even for those who are starting in photography. Reasonable price.
