This is a great camera for a beginner vlogger like myself. I’m starting a YouTube channel and after doing extensive research it seems as though this camera was perfect for a starter camera. The only thing is I had to purchase separate lenses to vlog with but I bought 2 for the price of one. I haven’t recorded many videos yet but the ones that I have are awesome.

Great camera for a beginner with amazing quality and easy to use.

Great for blogging and entry level beginner photography. I initially got the Rebel T6, but changed my mind when someone compared it to having an iPhone 4. So i went for the SLR and I’m pleased w the purchase. Easy to figure out. The kit lens isn’t the best lens but the camera body is great!

This is an excellent camera for a beginner to learn advanced photography. You can leave it in auto mode and get excellent pictures, but if you want to take a photography class and learn how to take truly professional photographs with manual settings, this camera allows you do to that.

Love my new camera, really easy to use and looks amazing

Having wanted to make the switch off my phone and get into photography, I looked over several of the Canon rebel series and entry level Nikon cameras. I am very satisfied with choosing the SL2! The fully articulating touch screen is more and more useful, and the dual pixel AF has been wonderful! Looking forward to further exploring its capabilities.

I bought this when I found out my wife was pregnant. I needed to spy on her from a distance to see if she is creeping around!!! Haha j/k. I bought this to take pics of our newborn and to have a good camera to capture every moment as she grows. This camera is great so far and has many features that give you the shot your looking for.

Great camera for the price ..easy to use and great pictures

The Canon SL2 was my best choice for a budget camera that had a lot of the same functionality and features found in the Canon lineup which could have easily cost twice the price on another model. There are some features that this camera does NOT have, so just be sure to research the differences and find out if this has all that you need or not.

Awesome beginner dslr. Everything I need to begin.

We bought this camera to replace one that got damaged. The camera works as promised. Once we sat down with the salesman and discuss options and what we wanted to be able to do, he was very helpful and suggested this camera. We love it and we love that we can go back to Best Buy and get tips when we have questions.
