Nice camera. Does exactly what we hoped for. Easy to use.

This camera is an excellent pre professional one. if you are new to photography, this is the best choice you can find in the bestbuy. To the best of my knowledge, the only difference between Rebel SL3 and Rebel T8i is the number of focus points, which matters in sport and high speed photography. But the difference in the prices are $200. Therefore my only suggestion for DSLR cameras below $1000 is this one.

If you want to Vlog, go for it. I was undecided between this one and the M50 and after long and heavy research, this one was the choice.

Being that I am new to photography, I appreciate the feature that gives a quick summary of each camera function . This is a useful tool, so you can understand how to use all the features of the camera. Don’t worry friends, you can disable that feature once you become more proficient with the camera.

Almost all photos are in focus and I rarely get bad photos. I love slrs but also want ease of use and this is great. Also the size reduction of the body is greatly appreciated.

This camera is amazing gets the job done every time.

So far the camera is working good for my nephew. It is his fist camera and he loves taking pictures. Plan to get the most use until it is time to step up.

Been using this camera for 8 month now for video shooting for VLOGS and some ads .. very good choice for video shoots and vloggers.. you can get a 10-18 lens to get some wide shots .. you can shoot in 4K as well ... the only bad thing is the battery .. you can't shoot more than 30 mins at a time.

This canon camera is great. Although I haven't had this camera that long the quality of the pictures it takes indoors and outdoors is great. I've used the camera in a few family events and I am very pleased and happy with the quality and clarity of the pictures. I would definitely recommend anyone to purchase this camera.

Every take I look at the pictures/videos I’ve taken, its like im there all over again.

Its just OK for me. It does take good pictures. I had 3 cons that really impact my satisfaction with it. The menus are not very intuitive. I find myself scanning the menus over and over again to find what i am looking for, and lot of the time, i never find it. The flash does not pop up automatically when needed. Initially i thought something was wrong with the flash, but found out that is by design....Really?...Every DSLR I have ever seen has an automatic flash. Also a video i took with the camera on Christmas morning was unable to be downloaded due to some kind of file corruption issue. Other videos i have taken downloaded fine. It was just that one, and i blame the camera.
