I knew I wanted a DSLR camera and this camera was pitched as a good beginner option that was lightweight. The camera has been good and is easy to use - very user friendly. But the weight of the camera doesn't really matter when you put a huge lens on it - I wish I had purchased a sturdier camera after upgrading to a larger lens. Also when you're using the screen to take pictures, there's a delay after taking a picture before you can take another picture. That's been frustrating because I've definitely missed out on some cool shots because of that 3 - 5 second delay.
