after moving to a very beatiful area with lots of waterfalls,and growing tired of poor quality iphone pictures,i went to best buy and asked about a nice easy to use camera for beginers.(pretty much point and shoot0 This camera was one of 3 recomended, perfect for newbies and alot of settings and options to grow into.Best Buy also saved me a bit of money with a bundle deal which got me a case and a high power zoom lens.So far I could not be happier with my purchase. I even went back and for only $29.00 got a really nice light weight tripod,a nice thing to have for high power zoom stability!

The camera is great to start learning how to take the perfect picture, it's easy to use and it's light. The lenses that came with it are really useful, I may want to get another one in between but it's great to have what's in the package for now

I purchased this camera as a gift to myself for an upcoming vacation in Cancun. The camera was absolutely amazing and took such great pictures. I'm new to a DSLR camera but it was very easy to use this camera and make adjustments as needed. I purchased the eye fi mobi sd card so uploading pictures to my devices was a breeze. I got the cannon rebel t5 bundle for a mothers day gift, my mom has used it to take to trips to visit family capturing some amazing pictures. As for me I have taken it hiking and to a car show and filled it up with photos. It is a great begginers camera. This is my moms first dslr and she is in love with it. You just have to be careful when switching lenses, also takes a few days of playing around with to get use to all the features but all in all a great camera.

I have been looking for years for a good cheap DSLR. I found this T5 bundle and took the chance. So far, I used the camera 4 times at a hockey game. Good pictures even looking through dirty glass hides the details. I also used the video. Not bad, but you cannot use view finder when taking video.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas. We have an older canon model which had a lot of settings needing customization for each shot. This was a much better fit for him since he is not a professional photographer but wanted to take professional and high quality photos of our family travels. I highly recommend for the beginning to intermediate photographer looking for more automatic settings with the ability to change settings if desired.

Take my review for what it's worth - this is my first DSLR, but so far I really like it and so do other users in my family. We're still exploring and trying new features and settings. It takes great pictures, it's easy to get started and just start shooting in auto modes, and downloading pics to our computer to share, edit, etc., has been effortless. Seems like a good solid starter camera for someone upgrading from a non-DSLR.
