This camera takes great pictures, it's light in weight and easy to handle.

I love this camera, just point & shoot. I am going to take a class to learn how to use advanced features like F stops & exposure. (but you would need to do this with any camera to use these features)

This camera is great, for a beginner not so much because it takes a lot of time reading and experimenting with all that this camera has to offer. After the reading and testing though this camera takes the most beautiful pictures in any kind of setting!

I have wanted a DSLR for awhile and spent a lot of time researching brands, models etc. My previous camera was a Canon Elph so I decided to stay with Canon. So far I am very happy with it, takes nice pictures and easy to use out of the box.

This is a good camera for someone starting out in that it is not too simple that you can't grow with it but also not too complex to understand. It can do a lot that I have not yet done without leaving me paralyzed by trying to do too much.

I bought this camera in order to upgrade my existing Canon Rebel XT which is still good, but getting a bit long in the tooth. I have to laugh somewhat since this is listed as an "entry" camera. Well, to be honest, most people who have a so-called superior camera, such as the T5i or whatever hardly ever use the functions on them anyway except for Program or Automatic mode. If you were to explore this camera's functions in depth, you will find that there are so many that you will probably never ever use them. Be honest, how many times do you ever change it from Program or Automatic mode into the creative or manual modes. Like most computers, a lot of folks buy them but use them really only to watch videos on the internet or surf the web. Same with cameras, even though both devices can do so much more! After all, it's the lens that really creates the image. You can be sure that the T5 can take a good picture. What did people do decades ago before they had such cameras as these. If you could go back into time, they would think you were from a far away advanced planet. Don't get caught up in the camera upgrade wars: this camera has plenty to keep you occupied for years to come. If you do happen to outgrow its functions, then you really are entitled to upgrade to another model. When that times comes, you'll be upgrading to a full frame sensor, perhaps a mirrorless model, etc. A buddy of mine just spent over $3000 on a camera and lens, but you can take just as good as shots with this one.

Bought the camera due to the great bundle price, perfect for those beginning in photgraphy, as your able to adjust the settings as needed for the perfect photo. I send and bought a remote trigger and a speedlite and works perfect.

This camera is easy to learn the basic functions. I've only had it for about a month and am still learning but it's been great for someone just getting into photography.

I absolutely love the camera!!! I still have some trouble doing certain things but I'm learning. It's totally worth having. We bring it everywhere because you never know when you're going to see something to take a picture of

It was time for an upgrade from an older Rebel txi, this was a great price, had great features and I could not be happier with the photo quality and easy use.

This is a great DSLR for beginners. The video quality is amazing then only thing I wish it had was a mic jack but the onboard audio isn't too terrible.
