I recently purchased this camera at Best Buy . It had every option I was looking for and at a great price .The sales people who helped me where knowledgeable about the product which was helpful.

I just had to have a new camera and wanted a DSLR. The one I actually wanted is no longer available so I decided on the Canon - EOS Rebel T5 DSLR Camera with 18-55mm IS Lens. My pictures now look like a professional took them. I highly recommend this camera. Also so very easy to use

This is my 3rd Canon (Rebel Series) that I have owned. None has ever disappointed me. This camera is very user friendly and a real pleasure to use. Picture quality is outstanding. This is the first Rebel I have used with the movie feature and it works flawlessly.

Really nice features for the price, takes amazing pics..only thing you will need to upgrade is the lens it comes with..its a pretty decent lens but for night photos you will definitely need something better. Overall very happy with it, 5 stars and as always, Best Buy has some of the very best staff guys in the industry..keep it up! Max

this is the best camera i've ever ever ever owned ...totally user friendly. a must for someone who wants great action pics....using it to video and photograph my grandchildren's sports and other school events. the screen explanations make it dummy proof.......must have !!!

I started with an Elan 7 several years ago, which was a film camera. I bought the Rebel TX and have used it for several years. The T5 went on sale, and I decided it was time to upgrade. I did not want the next model that has the touch screen. The T5 is an excellent choice and takes all the same lenses as the other DSLR Canons. It is great in lower light, and does an excellent job. The ISO goes to down to 6400. With 18 Megapixels, it does a great job, esp. when cleaning up using photoshop. I do a lot of school sports photography and it does a great job of action shots in the sports mode. Some call it an "entry level" DSLR. I would disagree with it only being entry level. It is that good.

I bought the Canon Rebel T5 as a long over due replacement to my Canon Rebel XT. I have rheumatoid arthritis so the weight of this camera was very important to me. I'v been very happy with image quality and ease of use of this version of the Rebel.

Great camera for beginner excellent pictures and very affordable

This camera comes with everything a Beginner would need to start learning about DSLR's.Because anything off Automatic setting is going to take some skill.Take a beginners class in photography and learn about your camera and it's settings, it's well worth it. This camera combo kit, for it's price, is well worth taking a chance on seeing if photography is your thing.If not,you didn't spend too much on a paper weight.

This camera is great. You definitely have to buy a separate lens however. I bought it for my farm and the pictures are phenomenal it has helped us gather more business and continue to grow. It's amazing how much of a difference quality pictures make. I would buy again without thinking twice

I've always wnjoyed taking and developing black and whites. When technology tool over got lazy since they made everything so simple. But now with such advancements made on point and shoots I've decided to go back and try a more advanced camera where i can control settings. Camera is very easy too use has great abilty and features. Well worth its buck

This camera is easy to use and has a lot of different features. Can use lens from a previous Canon camera because they are interchangeable.

Awesome camera! Easy to use. Takes great photos. Video looks like you recorded it with a camera that costs thousands of dollars instead of $500. I returned this camera for the i version for use with wi-fi. I recommend for the novice photographer/videographer up to a semi-pro. Great camera for the value!

Bought this camera for my son to use for a class. I have even used this myself and all of the photos were fantastic. Easy to use, not like the other high end cameras. this, I believe, can deliver results just as the higher end models
