I bought this camera for our vacation to Hawaii. I did a crazy thing and left the owners manual at home. After we arrived I realized that you didn't need the book after all. The camera was so easy to use that I didn't tell my wife I forgot the manual. She couldn't tell one way or the other. As I started shooting pictures the unit felt so good in my hands that someone thought I was a professional. That made my day!! I would highly recommend this camera for the beginner all the way up to the professional.

This is a great camera for a good quality picture for an amateur photographer

I owned a Canon XT (which I loved), but when I played around with the t5, I couldn't believe the difference. Wicked fast focusing and the large LCD display alone were enough to convince me I needed this ASAP. For an intermediate photographer like myself, this is the perfect camera. Canon was running a promotion for bundled items, so I ended up saving a good chunk of money. I recommend this to anyone who wants to take good pictures, not cell phone quality.

Had to practice a little to get the pictures I wanted but it was easy to use.

Being a novice, the camera is easy to operate. Glad I have it for the Spring.

I went from a Rebel Xs to the Rebel T5i - big difference. Great upgrade. Easy to use camera gives you much information onscreen so it's very easy to use. The auto focus with the Kit lens ( 18-55mm STM ). is very quick and very spot on. The buffer fills quick but it's got like 17 frames total on the SD card and in the buffer from one shoot. The auto focus is not the best out there but still is very good at what it does. I wish it had more than 19 AF points. But for me a advanced beginner that's not a bad start . I've been taking many shots out in nature. It's a great camera to use. Photography means so much to me that I've been using the heck out of it as of late. But one I think you'll like it !!!!

Over all the Canon EOS Rebel T5I I great camera. It works fast and easy. The image quality is great and so are the features. The view finder is great. The only I don't like is no wifi capability.
