Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the EOS Rebel T5i's image quality and ease of use, frequently praising its performance and user-friendliness. The touch screen and a variety of features are also appreciated. While some users wished for Wi-Fi and improved battery life, these concerns were less prevalent than positive feedback.

I am an average user, lots of pictures and some video. I used to have my camera & video camera when doing family outings. Now i just use the camera since it has HD video capabilities. I enjoy that i don't have to wait for the import of video tape, I can now just drag and drop the video to my computer. Purchased the additional lens and love the fact the each lens has Image Stabilization. Love it when I can use the telephoto lens to get up and close from far away.

I love this camera! I replaced a Nikon 3200 with this camera and it is so much easier to use . It has many features that are almost automatically set after the type of photo is selected. It is very intuitive and even has a simple setting for the amount of depth of field you want. Very blurry or slightly blurry, ect. It is so much easier to use especially for a non-professional photographer. Canon, you hit a home run with this one, the T5i.

I know very little of photographing, but I do have an interest in it. I'm use to using smaller point in shoot and cell phone but wanted to get into better quality now that my kids are more active in sports. This camera has been amazing so far! The interface is easy to use and the pictures quality is AMAZING!. The zoom lenses it comes with is great but if your in the field like me, you want a 250 or higher lenses for close ups.

The Canon T5i is a great budget camera that gives you a flip out screen that works very well for vlogging or getting a tough angle. The kit lense is ok. The one bad thing about Canon in general is the horrible audio pre-amp. This is correctable with an external mic and an extra pre-amp.

Great camera. Picked this up to give to my college daughter who is enrolled in photography classes. Many of the same features as the 60 and 7D but without the price tag.

Nice camera. I bought it for my wife as she has had a long desire to use her creative urges out on nature. Capturing that cloud that actually does look like a rabbit, the orange and purple hues at sunset, and a closeup of a Praying Mantis hunting prey. The burst mode is adequate for most circumstances. We haven't tried the HD Movie mode yet. The high ISO capability makes it useable at night and in Astrophotography. The high pixel count per picture is great for post editing. Image resolution is up to 5184 x 3456. So even if you didn't get that perfect shot in the field, you can crop it later to make it so.

A few years ago I got into taking photos and had a Nikon coolpix point and shoot and my mom has a Nikon D3200 that I shot around on and I decided I wanted my own. I went with the Canon because I've just heard so much about them and I knew I couldn't go wrong with it. I got it at a price match though Amazon which included the body starter kit with the 18-55mm lens and a 55-250mm lens plus the really but Canon bag. I am in love with this camera.

My father was a photographer; thus, I've been exposed to a variety of traditional cameras over the years. Life circumstances limited the time I had to pursue my photography hobby. My kids are active in athletics and music. Digital photography makes it easy to capture the moments. I've been pleased with the ease of using the Canon ES Rebel T5i. I appreciate the shutter speed and look forward to photographing the upcoming cross country season. Great product for the price!
