Great Camera

I wanted a unit with live view. That feature is a great help in letting me continue to photograph. The live view does eat up lots of battery power. I also really like the quiet STM lens. I put one of my other lenses on the body and they work differently. Instead of focusing and staying put they continue to move and make noise. Press the shutter button partially to get it to focus and be still. Makes me want to replace my old lens with the STM lenses because the are quiet and still.

It's a great camera for dummies

Great camera for my start in photography

It has clear and easy to use controls which can be set to auto and when you are ready to experiment you can set controls manually. The back screen is big, clear and easy to use. The camera has so many features I still have not tried them all. It takes great pictures right out of the box.

Best Camera for a beginner
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is my first Canon Camera, was mixed between this and the Nikon but read reviews and decided on this one because of the better video and auto focus, if that's your intentions with the camera I suggest this one. Do your research, watch YouTube videos & read reviews if still unsure
