I love my canon! It's lightweight and it's touch screen!!

I use this occasionally and absolutely love it. I cannot even begin to use all the features but hope to take a class to learn how to.

Absolutely would recommend this camera for anyone who is just getting into photography or wants to go a little beyond their day to day camera. I love the easy to use interface , the customization on this is great and being able to just control how I want to take a photo is great. This is a wonderful camera to get for anybody.

The canon rebel t5i was a GREAT buy the picture quality is absolutly amazing I am not a profesional photographer but with this camera it make is look like i know what I'm doing I was blown away by the pictures i thought i would have to edit them for enhancment but there was no need

This is a great camera. I bought it just before going to Europe for a month. It was easy to use and fun. The settings are easy to use. You can choose to have a point and shoot option that will ensure a decent photo or you can choose a manual option where you can play with exposure and light. The only thing I don't like about this camera is that the filters options (like toy camera effect and such) are only available in the camera itself and not within the computer software. So you essentially have to edit within the camera. Great battery life!

This is a great camera if you want to do more than point and shoot. If you want to point and shoot, buy something cheaper.

Bought this camera for my 13 year old who is interested in a career in photography. The pictures she's taken are exceptionally clear & the contrast is great.

Takes great pictures, easy to use. Only complaint is that it only takes video for 30 mins

This camera is my first DSLR and was a little overwhelming at first to use. I like how to change features by touch and i like viewing on the bigger screen. Takes some getting used to tho.

I used to own the t3i and the t5i outperformed my old t3i. I get a lot of compliments of the camera and its photo quality. By a uv filter when taking pictures during a sunny day. makes a big difference on how it comes out. quality is crisp and all my friends are jealous of the my camera. Thank you best buy!

This camera is easy to use and takes beautiful photos! This is my second Canon camera and I love it!

this camera takes the best pictures and can take a beginners photography to the next level, its a must have you will not regret it I promise!!

Bottom line up front, why only 3 stars? In full automatic (and even a couple other modes) pictures taken through the viewfinder are washed out, overexposed. Switch to live view on the LCD (which I hate using unless I have to) and the pictures come out with the proper exposure. For this much money, this SHOULD NOT be happening. I imagine I will have to take it back, but what time of year is it? Yeah I can't have my camera gone for 2+ weeks over Christmas time... I love the control the other modes of shooting give me, but must have a camera that my wife or kids can just pick up and take a quick shot. Same goes for when you need a family memory shot, pretty hard to not use full auto when handing your camera to a stranger. I am a Canon DSLR guy, I started with a 35mm Rebel, moved onto a digital Rebel XT and I was so ready and excited to be getting this new fancy T5i. From XT to T5i is a huge jump and I'm still getting used to all of the differences. The LCD is so much better, the menu expanded still pretty easy to use and this camera is so much more capable. Everything works perfectly EXCEPT shooting through the viewfinder. I can't believe this from a Canon camera, I hope to edit this review in the future and tell you all how great of a job Canon or BestBuy did taking care of the problem, but I just can't afford to be without it for now. It is hard to recommend to a friend or family, but I'm assuming for now that the camera I got just has a bad sensor or something.
