Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the EOS Rebel T5i's image quality and ease of use, frequently praising its performance and user-friendliness. The touch screen and a variety of features are also appreciated. While some users wished for Wi-Fi and improved battery life, these concerns were less prevalent than positive feedback.

Decided to go with the EOS 70D by Canon instead. This was a nice camera but I wanted one with wi-fi, which this did not have. Otherwise a very nice camera for someone on a budget.

Spent more on the camera than I planned but when you look at spending hundreds of dollars on "little" cameras and they don't last very long or take quality pictures, this is a great investment and I love taking pictures. Great camera for an amateur.

Great camera, not really for a beginner, there is a fairly steep learning curve, but well worth the effort.

Shopped around for a new camera for almost 2 years. Had originally set my eyes on the T3i, but then the T5i came out and the T3i was downgraded. The T5i is everything I expected, and more. Great image quality, great performance in low light, plenty of manual settings, plus several different auto settings.

    Long way from a point-n-shoot

After many years of using point-n-shoots, I bought my first DSLR and I committed myself to never using the automatic mode again. If you are making the leap, there is tons to learn. But the effort is certainly worth it. And, there is a lot of great information on the Internet to help you get there. The camera as a whole is great. The only thing I don't really care for is that some of the dials (such as the aperture dial) is a little stiff and not in the most convenient location. The main reason I chose the T5i over the older versions was because the T5i has an audio in port (which is important for filming video). If you spend the time to learn this camera, you will love it.

I bought this camera based on a combination of reviews and price. It is perfect for the begginer, easy to use and the instructions were easy to understand. This is also the camera I found used in most of the books I purchased to help guide me along my photography journey.

This was a replacement to a Canon t4i that had stopped working. I sent it in for warranty repair and was informed that I would be getting a brand new t5i. The picture quality is amazing and with the biggest difference between the two models is the faster shutter speed when taking multiple frames.

I really enjoy the swivel/ touch screen. It makes it so much easier to take pictures of animals/ children when you can lower the camera and still see what you're taking a picture of. The focus can be a little slow however which is somewhat frustrating but this is still a handy little camera

This is my first dslr camera. I was upgrading from a point and shoot. At first it was a little hard to figure out. It's a major step up and has so many options. I'm still learning but all the pics I have taken so far have come out great! This camera is awesome and I'm so glad I bought it.

I got this camera as a replacement for the 4Ti that kept on freezing up on me. I have had no problems with the 5Ti. Love the ease of use for beginners and also the ability to use the manual settings for the more experienced photographer. The Camera is light and easy to carry around.

This camera offers great flexibility in camera shots and settings that are easy to navigate. It takes excellent video although the sound mic is as expected not as good as a camcorder. The viewfinder is excellent and I prefer to use it although you can use the large LCD screen as well. Great camera, worth the price!
