Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the EOS Rebel T5i's image quality and ease of use, frequently praising its performance and user-friendliness. The touch screen and a variety of features are also appreciated. While some users wished for Wi-Fi and improved battery life, these concerns were less prevalent than positive feedback.

Just got back from vacation and was very pleased with the photos taken with this camera! In automatic mode, the pictures turned out fantastic, just need to spend more time with it to learn how to use the manual functions, but from what I've seen so far, those settings are also easy to use.

I haven't had an SLR since inheriting my dad's old Canon FTB back in college. I have always wanted to take up photography, but I usually do it with a point and shoot. This camera was a great purchase. Tons of options that I am still learning about, but it is such a huge step up coming from the point and shoot. Love how quick it takes photos and the quality of them is amazing. I'm sure I could have gotten comparable features and options in the lower priced, but older T3i, but the wife always wants the newer model.

This is a great advanced entry level DSLR camera. Right out of the box my wife and I were taking pictures on the automatic setting that blew our point and shoot cameras out of the water. We will be using this camera for years to come

This dslr has given me so much to practice with for the year and a half that I've had it. I've learned so much and use it pretty close to every week. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a simple yet great quality dslr, especially if you're just a newbie! Very well made and the touch screen is the best!

I had been looking for a new camera to upgrade from my fuji film fine pix digital camera. Looked up reviews and videos about the Rebel T5i online and decided this was a good, affordable camera. After using it for a few months, I am extremely satisfied. Full HD video, great picture quality.

I was a big Nikon fan and wanted a change. I love this camera (1) for the price, (2) the bundle, (3) the functionality, (4) the quality of the images for sure. I bought another one as a gift as well.

Great pictures, bit of a learning curve

Very pleased with the camera. Being a newbie to DSLRs, I had to study the manual quite a bit and still occasionally have trouble navigating some of the features. Purchased the 55-250 zoom lens as well as the Canon backpack. (Originally purchased a smaller case, but returned it for the much larger backpack which easily holds everything with room to spare.) If you purchase this package, I'd plan on getting a longer focal length lens.

The Canon EOS Rebel T5i retains the great articulated touch-screen implementation that's optimized for video, and delivers the same excellent photo quality and solid video as its predecessor. Plus the performance is slightly improved.

I do not own my own camera but this is the camera I use in my Photography class. I am now woking extra so I can afford to buy this. the auto works great but definitely learn how to use manual. best was to do that is through someone else that already knows how.

Picture quality is not what you expect from a DSLR

The focusing is very slow and also easily gets confused, at least 20% of the pictures / video will be out of focus, which I think is very bad if you spent $900 on a camera kit, my Samsung galaxy S5 phone takes much better pictures and video than this camera.

So, lets keep the story short. I decided to take vlogging more seriously. Flawless reviews of this camera, hey look its on sale, might as well give it a go. Purchased second week of November, 2015. I haven't even had the camera a week, and the camera already has error 70 shown. Reformatted sd card, recharged battery, and various other measures that Canon has suggested for the working of this error, and camera. I am going to be going to Best Buy tomorrow and either get an exchanged for a camera that works, or demand a refund. Not impressed at the moment at the non functioning ability of the camera, and nonetheless the first experience ive had with a DSLR camera.
