We bought this camera because we wanted better quality pictures than an iPhones camera photos. It's a really great camera, so much that my boyfriend bought a second one for himself.

I did my homework before purchasing a new camera. I wanted something that could autofocus and get good video as well as take great shots.

high quality camera and worth the extra few hundred bucks over the regular T5. Does everything I want it to do at this point since I have just started getting into photography.

My first photography class was over 50 years ago. I spent all my life with film cameras. Film is no longer practical. I gave all my film equipment to the community college a few years ago and resigned myself to simple point and shoot cameras. But my creative instincts couldn't stand it any longer. I always liked Canon equipment - my favorite film SLR was a Canon. Since the research showed good reviews on this digital one, I took the plunge. I'm so glad I did. Very rewarding even tho I am not a professional photographer, hobby only. This camera would be good for any level. There's a lot to learn about it but the basics are the same as they were in 1961 - f stops, film speeds, etc. Easy to make the transition into digital. Picture quality is so very sharp, colors vibrant. I'm very happy with this camera. Price is worth every penny it cost.

Got this camera for my wife because she was upset with the quality and speed of point and shoot. After getting this camera we were amazed how fast it can take pictures. We are able to take crystal clear pictures on kids moving.

i am a beginner photographer and this camera comply with all what i need. i love the wireless flash option, the touch and rotating screen. it also has a good speed to take pictures,but the autofocus in thevideo is a little slow

It's a good camera for a beginner especially for someone that doesn't know much about a camera. It's easy to learn all the features. Great clear picture quality and always receive many positive comments on my photos. Just wish it had built in wifi

This camera is just everything. I love it so much. The pictures are just so amazing. I couldn't put it down the first week I bought it. I just love going out and taking random pictures just because of the quality of the pictures.

Love this cam! At first I was disappointed in the fact that the camera starts to the menu screen and not live view but I got over it. Still learning this camera so I can't tell you much but I am amazed at the image quality.

My wife wanted one of these cameras and I couldn't believe the pictures this camera takes!! Wow!! I would definately suggest this to beginner photographers!

This is actually the first DSLR camera I have owned and I am so completely in love with it. Even with the lens it comes with you have the capability for very powerful pictures and to capture great moments!

I am beginning a media production company and needed a camera for stills and videos, this does both flawlessly. And works with my lenses and adapters.

Calling it a camera is insulting...it's a DSLR. The editing features are amazing, and the lens is so quiet compared to the T5 the extra $50-$75 extra was worth it for the T5i. It's a great starter for a DSLR.

Not perfect by any means, but I'm just getting into DSLR photography and this has been a great little starter camera. It's giving me a chance to get to know a DSLR at a price point that didn't break the bank. As a video guy I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality. Not good in low light, but definitely a nice unexpected bonus.
