    This is my first DSLR camera. The previous ones I had were the point and shoot kind or those with integrated lenses for zooming only. I bought it for artwork documenting (sketches and paintings). The quality of images are amazing! I can see the strokes of charcoal with great detail. I'm exited about getting into the basics of photography with this camera.

    I have been using 35mm DSLR's for years, and this is one of the best 'beginner' models that I have ever owned. It is easy to use and takes great photos.

    This camera is very easy to use for someone with little or no experience. It also has the capabilities that allow for more advanced use allowing for full manual control of all settings. I was able to teach my fiancé how to use it in about 10 minutes and 15 minutes later she was on the beach shooting beautiful pictures.
