This was bought as a graduation gift for a college student majoring in cinematography and video production. She picked this out and says it is much more intuitive than Nikon's costing the same or much more.

I’m a point and click kind of guy, or I was until I bought this amazing camera! I don’t need all of these features, but find myself playing with them because I can! The pictures look amazing!

I, like most people, use my Cell Phone to take most of my pictures, however, wanting to get into photography as a hobby, decided it was time for an upgrade. After doing months of research, I settled down to the Canon EOS Rebel T6i, and it really is an amazing camera, that takes really good pictures for the price. Not only does it do super simple, point and shoot, for beginners, but it has full manual modes too, so that as you learn, the camera is ready there with you.

I find this camera to be super. I was purchasing it for my 14 year old grand daughter, and we have found it to be great for her. She has had absolutely no problem learning how to use it and has taken many wonderful pictures with it. She now wants to get the super zoom lens for it. She has had many pleasure able moments with this camera and it has been all she wanted in it.

I have used the older versions of this camera in the past and loved it. Tried another brand which was a great deal but ended up going back to this one. The newer version is awesome!!

the camera takes great pictures with all the different lenses and is very easy to use nice and lite wait too

This camera is great! I don’t regret my decision on getting it. It takes amazing photos but I still got much to learn and I’m sure it won’t be that hard with a camera like this.

Bought for wife she is a beginner and it was easy to use it tells you on screen what the setting is for when you select one. Hooking to android via the canon app is very easy and a great feature

My son searched and researched many types of cameras and this one has everything he was looking for! Especially the quality and the screens ability to turn multiple directions

One of the features I like is its not heavy . You can shoot manually or automatic. Takes geat action shots. Just an easy and fun camera to use.

I upgraded my Canon XT to T6i. The image quality has improved slightly, but the new camera has much more features. Mainly, I can easily control the camera from my laptop using their software.

I am very happy this camera. I had the T3i, was worried this upgrade won't be enough, but I was so wrong. The camera takes such nice pictures. It's quite, takes pictures quickly.

It's a great all around camera. You can't beat all the features for the price either. Lots of lens that u can buy separately to make it even more versatile as well.

Bought as an overdue upgrade from an EOS RebelT1i. The image quality is wonderful. Camera combines the ability to basically "point and shoot" or customize settings for flexibility and adaptability. Familiarity with the Canon platform played a large role in the decision making, and this newer, faster, more powerful camera did not disappoint.

Excellent, have builtin wifi, which allows me to take photos from phone. Easy transferable images to any electronic device using wifi or NFC for samsung phones.

easy to use, but if you're new you'll need to read the manual carefully so you don't mess your money up. but overall you'll love it and its good for beginners.

This camera is a great camera for a starter photographer. It is great for the money and the picture quality is great. I like the wifi connectivity as well, it comes in handy.

This camera was chosen after extensive reading of both professional and personal reviews, and we’ve been quite happy with it. There are fancier/better options in the Canon line, but you pay for them. We chose this because the features per price point matched the level of investment we could make. We’ve been very happy with the vibrant colors, the high pixel count and the autofocus. The camera does an outstanding job in low light settings. The articulating touchscreen lcd makes it easy to choose focal points, and being able to view the lcd from different angles allows us to make video and camera shots that would have been figuratively shots in the dark in the past – you can hold this camera high over your head and shoot down at a subject and know exactly what you’re getting. Compared to previous models, the smaller battery did give us a little concern, but we haven't really stress-tested it - it's been suitable for our needs so far. Being previous Canon owners, our investment in memory is predominantly compact flash, so this camera did require purchasing some smaller format memory cards. Nevertheless, we have found it worth it.

Had a previous model of rebel prior to this one. I moved up to get the video feature. Lots of features and I am learning every day. It also takes great pictures, by the way!
