Such a great camera. I bought this as my first DSLR and was a little afraid because the first time I would be using it would be during Thanksgiving to take pictures of my family. It was SO extremely easy to use and figure out! I read through the Canon Guide and quickly picked up easy steps for taking pictures. A great beginner camera and with natural light oh-em-gee the pictures are breathtaking!

I bought this to replace my SL-1 that I had handed down to my daughter, and I was pleased to find the same solid Canon quality, and it's not much heavier. Since I shoot candids and some sports, I was willing to sacrifice the features of the more expensive models for the size, but this still has the resolution and most of the options of the more expensive Canons. I am pleased with my early results.

This camera has been easy to learn and rediscover a hobby I used to love. It has made me fall in love with photography all over. I am still learning to use all the features. But youTube tutorials are a big help. I took it on vacation and the performance was excellent. Took hundreds of photos a day and some looked professional - I was very happy. I did buy an extra battery which comes in handy.

I love the pictures in this camera... I can not figure out some settings yet because its an advance camera but I put it in auto and it does the work.

So I spent two months researching a camera that was less than $1000 that came ready to shoot. I got tired of the point and click photos and wanted something that would give me some great photos of my hobbies and my daughter. The auto-focus is lightning fast and I can get exactly the shot I was looking for. The wireless feature is handy as I can remote control the T6i from my android phone for those super long exposures (so I don't inadvertently move the camera by pressing the button). The large/raw files come out as 6000x4000 pixels which is more than enough resolution to get amazing photos on my 5K imac. I can't express how much the best buy sales rep was (I believe she was Canon certified). She gave me a run down on some of the basics and invited me to come back for more instruction should I want it (Not just functionality, but how to obtain particular shots). She also told me about the protection service. After seeing a professional photographer buddy get hit in the face/camera with a race tire (at a race track, car slid off the track and into some breakaway tires) it was an easy decision (comes with an annual professional cleaning/checkup too). I love that Best Buy puts subject matter experts in their stores, and has hands on demos for a lot of products. You just can't get that type of interaction online. Will be going back when I'm ready to upgrade.

This camera was a gift for my wife to replace a Nikon D3100 that we damaged when we almost sank a boat. It provides outstanding clarity from the 24megapixel resolution, amazing HD video recording, and I especially love the app that allows remote operation from a smartphone. I would recommend this camera to anyone looking for a good, high quality DSLR that won't break the bank!!

I bought this camera to shoot YouTube videos and I was not disappointed. I like the Wi-Fi capabilities of the camera. This is my first DSLR and it took a little getting used to but within a few weeks I was shooting away.

It's an awesome camera not only for someone who's just starting out, but also for someone with experience. Although it has a lot of features, which is awesome, it can be a little intimidating for beginners, but they're very easy to pick and play around with. Have fun! I absolutely love the camera

Camera is very easy to use, lightweight, very impressed with this camera.

I did not want a cheap camera nor did I want a real expensive camera. This fills both. It is a great camera to learn from and produces great pictures. Because I am new I have learned to shoot in RAW and fix my mistakes in LightRoom and Photoshop. The camera itself is a lot of fun to shoot with and gives professional pictures without breaking your back account.

Needed to upgrade my camera and this is it for me! Top choice for me and I have mentioned to a few people that they need this camera in their lives!

My Canon Rebel T6i DSL camera is just what I expected. As a devoted photographer, I am able to take great scenic photos on vacation as well as standard family and closeup photos at home. It's easy to handle and takes great photos. The more familiar I become with its capabilities, the more I am able to improve my abilities as a better photographer.

I replaced my Canon 10mp camera with this and what a difference. Saves pictures to the card a lot faster and the pictures and video look great.

This is the second Canon DSL camera I have purchased. This model is definitely faster and better than the last one I had about six years ago.

Easy to use, light weight, Canon quality for a really great price.
