My husband surprised me with this camera on Mother's Day and let me just say how happy I am that he did. This camera is so easy to use and takes the most crisp and clear pictures from any camera I have ever used. And I can't tell you enough about the wifi feature. I used to hate having to transfer my pictures onto my laptop then upload them to my phone or social media. Now all I do is connect via wifi to my phone pick the pictures I want and automatically upload to my FB and IG account. Literally takes me about 5 minutes. And you can even use your cellphone as a second screen and take a picture from your cell phone. Just a great camera all around!

I got this camera as a gift for a beginner and it has been amazing in terms of its ease of use and quality of images. The 24.2 megapixels over the 18 megapixels on the Rebel T6 is definitely worth the extra money in my opinion. Also, the touch screen is great for beginners because it is really intuitive to make the adjustments needed. Also, the built-in WiFi takes the camera to the top of the list.

I chose the Canon t6i for its quality and ease of use. The new features which include 24MP, built in wifi and 19point AF system make this Rebel a truly great camera. I am not a professional photographer, but the look, feel and picture quality has inspired me to learn more.

The Canon EOS T6i is a great camera for the amateur photographer and film-maker. With 24.2 megapixel clarity and an impressive ISO range (100–12800) Your pictures will be sharp and vibrant, even in low-light situations. The full hd movie mode captures high quality footage in MP4 format. The wifi features allow you to use your smart phone as a remote, great for getting that perfect group shot! I never take a trip or celebrate a special occasion without my Canon T6i with me.

I recently purchased this camera for family and it takes great pictures. I am a novice photographer with no experience, but I wanted a camera that would take great shots of my family and other things. This is great for all of that. It's pretty light and the battery lasts a good amount of time. I was familiar with the T3i, and loved that camera, so I went with this model. You will not be disappointed.

I love the wifi feature on this. That is the main reason I choose this model over other models. I know very little about taking pictures but this camera makes me want to take a photography class. I love how easy it is to use. I love the quality of the pictures I can get. The only thing is I push the button to catch the picture and sometimes the image I get is late and I missed the shot I was trying to capture. This is frustrating but could be operator error.

Amazing camera for the price! I purchased this camera not knowing anything about dslr's. Which was fine for me since I was wanting to get into Photography. It was a bit overwhelming at first; however with a little research on Photography websites and youtube. I was able to figure everything out with ease. This camera has great pixel rate, wi-fi, and performs the same as the 70d(only difference between the 2 is body style and that it, and costs less!!!) IF you're beginner to photography, like myself.. I would recommend this camera 1000%. Its great for video and blogging since the screen folds out so you can have it facing you so you know where your camera is pointing and you can see yourself. I would get this camera before the t6, t5i and t5 any day! Don't even waste your time with those. And usually best buy runs specials where you can get a extra lens at a discount price. since it comes with your standard lens, you can get a telephoto 55mm-250mm for $150 and with the camera it comes out to $899. definitely a great deal! usually the lens alone is $299. Definitely get it with protection plan as well to save you from accidental issues. WORTH EVERY PENNY!

I picked this camera as my first DSLR. I am still a beginner when it comes to digital photography, but going in I knew I wanted something that would be just a step up from the base model. I feel the T6i fit the bill perfectly. The T6i is a great camera. It shoots high quality pictures and HD video. It's easy to get the hang of the basic features even without reading the manual. The interface is very user friendly. One of my favorite features is the auto focus - something I've never used before. It has many options to focus on different points and also adjusts for moving subjects. I'm also really grateful for the live view screen. As I always shoot in manual mode, it shows how the scene will look as I adjust aperture, shutter and ISO. The fact that you can twist the screen around is also a great feature - very handy when you're shooting video, taking self-portraits, or simply taking photos at odd angles. Overall I would highly recommend this camera for people just starting out with DSLRs.

I am just getting back into photography...my last camera was purchased when film was still the only option out there. :) I wanted something that would meet my needs both as a novice but allow me plenty of room to learn and grow in my photography without having to purchase a new camera. I came back from my vacation and the pictures are amazing! I mostly used the automatic feature, but I did mess around a little bit and even those pics turned out really well. I highly recommend this camera. I was originally intimidated, but quickly found that the camera wasn't hard to use at all. Buttons were in different spots than my old Pentax, new buttons to learn what they meant, but overall very easy pick up and use. The hardest part so far has been downloading them to the computer, but even that wasn't too bad.

Got just before Alaska cruise. Great pictures for the price. Easy to use, touch screen, good basic lens. Battery is decent, didn't have problems for 1-2 day usage. Doesn't come with memory card. Factor in extra battery, lens, memory card and a case to get a good package. Wifi connect is good, didn't get much time to use it but seems useful. Overall for the price , a great camera.

This is a great camera for the price. It is an excellent entry point for beginners as well as anyone upgrading from a point and shoot. It has all the features one needs to learn and grow. The touchscreen is great and I am glad Canon included Wifi on this model. Even with the older models on sale for much less I am glad I made the decision to go with this one; worth every extra penny!

It's my first dslr & totally worth the money, especially for the screen that flips out. I've had it for a few months and since I'm a beginner, I'm still learning how to use it but it takes beautiful pictures with the pre-set functions (if you never plan to delve deeper/need a certain style in a pinch) as well as when you set them all yourself. The video is really great quality and it's very easy to re-focus on subjects. My only real con is that the lens cap that came with the kit falls off at the slightest brush of anything against it & had no string to attach it to the camera so that was somewhat annoying. I intend to purchase higher quality lenses going forward though so it's no big deal. I bought an extra battery so I'd have a backup but I was impressed with the battery life, definitely lasted longer than what I thought based on reviews I'd read. (Lasted an entire day at Yellowstone where I was a little trigger happy.) It also has sustained two falls - in a camera bag, but still killed me inside - one off of a bed onto carpet and one onto cement flooring when the strap of the bag got snagged on a chair and dropped with a pretty hard smack. No damage done so I'm happy!

Originally I researched reviews on Nikon cameras before making this purchase. after speaking with the sales associate, i decided to go with canon. so far I am in love with this camera. the detail of the pictures is amazing, and the camera itself is really user friendly! Im excited to start getting familiar with using it for photography and general use! my favorite part about this camera is the WIFI connection. I can automatically upload the pictures I take no matter where I'm at

I have owned Canon cameras since the 80's. One of the greatest features is that they continue to support the previous lenses. I am still using lenses from my first camera. The Rebel EOS is an affordable option for all the features of the more expensive models. The higher end models are more durable and better quality, but the average, semi-pro would not notice the difference and probably could afford the higher price. I chose the T6i over the T6s model because the only difference is a top illuminated readout and HD movie preview option that didn't substantiate the additional cost. The remote shutter pairing with phone or tablet is a lot of fun, although I wish the iOS app had more features. I highly recommend this model.

I'm right in the middle when it comes to my skill level. I have been dabbling in photography for about 12 years now and this is the second DSLR I have owned. Boy, do I have to say, this thing is amazing. My first DSLR was the Rebel XS and it was a nice little beginner but this one is a whole other beast capable of so much more. I enjoy the video capabilities (720p @ 30 FPS is lovely!) and the WiFi is a nifty little feature as a quality of life improvement. The Canon app allows you to connect directly to your camera and download pictures (downscaled but still great quality) and even use your phone as a remote fire! The body is a sleek design and with the standard lens is surprisingly light. So far, I have no quarrels with this camera. It's amazing and easy to use for beginners but provides enough options for a pro to unlock the full capabilities of this bad boy.

I purchased this camera for my shutterbug wife who owned and lost a previous version of the EOS Rebel. The EOS Rebel T6i is an awesome camera. The picture quality is fantastic!!! The first thing I did was connect it to my smartphone and remotely take a picture and view the pictures on the camera. I still have to connect it to the web service so I can upload and share pictures. Overall, this camera is fantastic.
