I’ve dreamt of a DSLR camera for years but never thought it was feasible to get one. Thanks to the Best Buy credit card and the amazing Black Friday deal I got, I was able to get this camera. I am immediately impressed with the quality of it! It is simple to use for someone who just wants quality photos but has all the capabilities of taking incredible photos for someone like me who is a hobby photographer. I LOVE this more than I loved my last boyfriend and I can guarantee that this won’t let you down in the same way a man will! Save yourself the heartache and just buy a camera.

Had this combo on sale during black Friday and couldn't pass it up. I've always had to borrow cameras if I ever needed one. Used cannon t6, t6i, t7i, Nikon 3400 and 5600 before and the t7i had always been the camera that the pictures came out very exceptional. Mainly taking pictures at my son's baseball games, random pics and with a long-zoom lens wildlife/astrophotography. The games, it did very well keeping up with the action with the right setting. When getting set to take shots at random, the auto focus sometimes would be way off and I would miss the moment. May be user error and I'm no professional by any means lol. Over all I'm very pleased with this package, just need to learn more of the photography world and the joy it brings

Do you research before buying to see if it’s the right camera for you. After using this camera, and learning all the features and what it can and cannot do, wish I would have gotten a mirrorless sony a7iii. Overall it’s a nice camera but if you’re seriously getting into photography and using it for more than just here and there, are some things to consider. I made a list of the pros and cons
Pros:
Flip out screen
Great for self portraits, filming and getting those angles.
Image Stabilization
Self explanatory, your videos will be pretty steady
Subject Tracking
This is a great feature that full frame, much more expensive Canon cameras don’t have. Especially useful in filming or just taking photos.
Quality of Photos
Given you know how to work manual, you can take the time to get some very stunning photos with the 24.2 MP.
Cons:
Crop Camera
zooms pretty far in naturally and you may find yourself having the hold the camera extremely close to your body to get the same shot...
Kit Lens
Is not very great. High f stop meaning not good in “dark” lighting. Consider having to get another lens if you are traveling and want to take some good photos in the evening. Another to keep in mind is that Canon doesn’t have too many options in lenses so if you’re going with a Canon expect to pay some cash to get a “good” lens.
Battery Life
Has dwindled and very quickly. Used to last a whole day and now maybe half that. I’ve had the camera for less than 6 months and don’t use it regularly.
Wifi/Bluetooth Connect
Just not designed well in my opinion, constantly deconnects the second your viewfinder or phone goes to sleep and you find yourself reconnecting over and over again. Secondly viewing photos on the phone with the future is just clunky and not user-friendly. Each individual loads separately so if you have a lot of photos it can take a long time and you have to go through them one by one. Small glitches with the phone app as well, the view finder stretches the photo sometimes and you have to just reset it. Overall just a clunky feature.
External Flash
Another problem with the the wifi remote is that it doesn’t work with the external flash... I think I got it to work once when using a manual focus different lens but the kit lens it just doesn’t work. Lots of annoying things with the wifi remote.
View Finder (screen)
Does not work with external flash, you have to blindly figure out where you want to take the photo and use the eye hole part, which obviously is not possible in many cases (if it’s dark outside, you are stretching your arms, etc.) Should consider getting a mirrorless camera.

Amazing camera for a beginner. Only been shooting with it for about a month in which I have taken over 1000 pictures. Still getting used to the many ways to shoot and the two lens. Not much to add as this is my first camera. I absolutely love my new toy!

For the longest time I’ve been dreaming of a dslr camera And finally got this one last December on sale for $ 699.99 at bestbuy . It comes with two kit lens , bag and a memory card all the things needed to start shooting great photos and I tell you it did not disappoint . Right in time for Christmas and New Years parties , picture quality is exceptional from canon , video shooting is phenominal as it can auto focus subjects without any blur. Very satisfied with my purchase . Can’t wait to go on vacation to take more great pictures with my canon t7i .

For what it is, I'd give the camera five stars... I bought the package with two kit lenses... If I was to do it over, I'd just buy the body and put a few extra dollars towards premium lenses... Other than that I have no complaints. - It's a great camera for a budget minded enthusiast!!

Got this bundle after having the T6, and it’s great. The t6 is a good beginner camera, and I feel like the T7i is the next step up for up for an advancing photographer. I highly recommend it.

An Instamatic 104 or a Polaroid Swinger are beginner cameras. And I'm sure Canon would like you to move up their ladder too. Yet, every year, they offer a more capable camera in the lower price range. The T7i goes back a few years but is still twice the camera than you could have had 10 or 15 years ago.
If it is your first SLR of any kind then this is a good place to go.
The size, features and functions are all on point. With this kit, the only things you'll need to get are filters and an extra battery... Which, of course, are available through Best Buy too.

I was a complete photography beginner when I bought this kit. I knew I wanted both a decent zoom lens with stabilization, as well as a camera with an adjustable screen. This was the perfect set for me. I'm so happy with this purchase, and I'm excited to keep learning about photography as I get better with it.
