If you're looking for a great DSLR for shooting video then this is it. An entry level camera, the Canon t7i packs a punch for the buck. At 24mp it shoots big clear pictures with the kit lens but excels when you put it in video mode. Shooting 1080p @ 60 fps this camera is perfect for the parent looking to get into DSLR video or makes a great gift if your child is looking to get into VLOGGING. WIth an external mic input and a folding touch screen, this camera is light and slips easily into a small bag for trips to the beach, museum or Disneyland. Built in Wifi and Bluetooth make transferring photos to your smart phone or desktop computer a snap or, skip the middle man and upload them directly to your social media account. The T7i features 45 all cross type sensors and shoots up to 6 frames per second in photo mode perfect for shooting your childs weekend soccer match. Dual pixel autofocus and face detection make shooting video a breeze. If you're looking for a DSLR with many of the features of a higher end camera but with a lower price point then this camera is the camera for you.

With a little use, the buttons and dials become second nature. This camera's live view helps with the settings that aren't Auto. Always remember to reference the light meter for exposure. This camera has all the features to help you grow as a photographer. This model has the wifi/bluetooth connectivity to transfer pictures to your phone, with the Canon Camera Connect app for smartphones. Battery life remains great with the auto shut off feature built into the camera. The camera's features and functionality are vast and will allow you to experiment with them as you learn more about DLSR shortcuts and tips for taking pictures.

I’m very happy with this camera. I previously owned the Rebel T6 but have recently upgraded to the T7i. It is super easy to use and the touch screen makes adjusting settings so easy. It delivers crisp clear photos and excellent video quality. I have also purchased this camera for a friend and would recommend it for anyone. It is easy enough to use that a beginner can start on it but also offers creativity options for the more advanced photographer. I am just getting comfortable shooting in manual mode and using more of my own creativity and this camera has been an excellent tool.

Great camera, has same sensor but also the newer processor than more expensive options, takes great photos and video, low light suffers slightly but due to kit lens I assume. Autofocus is insanely good, I don't know why something that is a dedicated camera doesn't have better slow motion than a cell phone, 60fps (2017 $850 dslr) vs 240fps (2014 $150 iPhone 6) but whatever. Love the wireless connection to cell phone, can operate the camera and download/upload images on the spot. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend it.

I gave my Canon Rebel T5 away and was looking for a updgraded model, after some research and going to Best Buy to get some hands on camera play. I jumped on this model. I took it to Justus tree that same weekend and the shots I got where amazing. Nice clear and precise. The best part is the WiFi, because you know your models want to post pics quickly on social media. Also my favorite part is the touch screen. It even gives you hints on how to set up your pics. So this is a A++++++ camera. Can’t wIt fir the next adventure

The Canon EOS Rebel T7i, is the type of camera you can grow into. If you have some photographic experience, you will learn something new every time you use it. I am very happy that i purchased it and the only thing i might do different next time, would be to purchase a camera with an intermediate lens, instead of the standard lens or telephoto.

I already had a Canon T6 and was disappointed that it did not have enough features to accomodate the GPS attachment. T7i does, plus it has features to put in the photographer s name and copyright information, which is important to me now that my architectural photos are getting more and more recognition. There are excellent videos oon You Tube to help orient you to actually using the T7i, but IMO it s even better to pick up the book T7i for Dummies, which really walks you through all the features, at your own pace. You will probably want another lens, and for podcasters there are a couple of extras to attach to make it more friendly for podcasting, but at the time I bought it, the podcasting kit had sold out. The price savings is not that much between the kit and just buying the attachment outright, IMO, so I would recommend that if you are podcasting, don t let the sold out status of the kit hold you back from getting the T7i. Canon does have a T8, but sadly, it does not seem to have the features of the T7i that work for me, but T8 does look like a good camera. You have to pick the one that s right for you.

I bought this camera as my first DSLR as I've been wanting to buy one for a while and it has definitely been worth it. I've been using the camera a lot and I've been enjoying it a lot. The weight isn't that bad at all, compared to other DSLR I've used before. The interface is nice, the touch screen is responsive and the quality of it is great. I'd recommend this to people wanting to get into photography on a Budget or anyone wanting to start off photography

I have never used any DSLR Camera before but this feels great to use and capture pictures in all lighting effects. Only concern with Canon EOS rebel series T7i is, Its auto focus settings in flash mode make some flashing before capture the picture with some kie kie kie sounds which was little bit uneasy to hear that rest everything is perfect

I had to purchase anew camera after falling into a lake with my old one. I had done a lot of research and decided to finally pick up the T7i after holding off a few months. I love the flip out screen and the quality in clips you take for videos which is what I was really searching for. This camera also obviously takes amazing pictures !!! By that was to hopefully be expected!!!

I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this camera if your new to everything and are looking into getting into film making. This is not the cheapest, nor the most expensive camera, this is a middle ground camera that has tons of features that were very apealing to me, if you dont have that much money, save a little more to get this, This camera has touch screen, a mic jack (which others do not), good battery life, many customizable modes making this a very good camera, the only things i can say i did not like was no 4k recording and 30 minute max record limit. but 1080p 60 fps, this thing is phenomenal. It is an aps-c camera so i would recommend some kind of wide angle lens for vlogging, indoor recording, and nature. I bought the canon 10-18mm lens and it really brought this thing to life. Pair it with a Rode shotgun mic and your ready to go to make some HIGH quality videos with this thing.

When my T6i stopped working properly and could not be fixed, I upgraded to the T7i. The other models, such as the 70D, are too big and heavy for me. The difference between the T6i and T7i is great. The pictures are so much clearer, and the camera with the kit lens seems "faster". Of course, all of my previously purchased lenses/flashes work with the T7i. This model also has additional features and filters that the T6i did not (or at least I couldn't find them). There is a built-in level that is easy to use, and creative filters, such as a fish-eye and artistic colors. I was very sad when my T6i broke, but once I saw this camera in action, I felt better about it. This camera is wonderful!

So let’s start this review off by taking a look at the build quality of the Canon T7i. Now if you’ve never used a DSLR before the T7i might seem like quite a large camera, but in fact compared to most DSLR’s, it’s actually quite small. Just for comparisons sake I’ve a Canon 70D right here and it really makes the T7i feel very light. And to me thats a great thing. Because the T7i is a little smaller, I think that this means you’ll be more likely to take it out with you and to take more photos. For beginners and intermediates thats a great thing. Now I used the Canon T6i a lot last year and not too much has changed on the body of the T7i.Buttons are exactly where you’d want them to be and easy enough to find. Like i said in my review of the Canon 77D however, I do wish the buttons were a little more pronounced because they are a little flat and hard to find when you’ve got your eye up to the viewfinder. At the top of the camera here you’ll notice that this is a little to the bigger brother the 77D. On the right the camera, we have your main mode dial. Essentailyl this where you can change the different setting that you want to shoot in whether that be automatic or the manual modes. One thing you’ll notice is that in the T7i you’re missing the mode dial lock that we saw on the 77d. This isn’t a huge deal to me but it’s one thing to be careful with so you don’t accidentally change your settings. At the top here we have a dedicated record button which is nice to see as well. So overall the build quality is nice on the T7i. It’s definitely a smaller build than most DSLR’s which could be a big bonus if you like to travel or walk around with a lighter camera.

I love this camera! I had a prior generation rebel which I was completely satisfied with but this camera exceeds the quality and ease of the prior camera by leaps and bounds. More auto focus points, wifi capability makes sharing photos an ease, and longest battery life in its class.
