    Updated my T2i which still takes great pics 17 years later. Lots of nice features on this model. Bought it for sports photography and it is excellent.

    I used a Rebel T6 for a few months this spring and I knew based on that experience I wanted the T8i. As a beginner, I love the simplicity of the menu. Highly recommend!

    Great camera. Be warned you cannot add a battery grip (aftermarket, 3rd party, or canon). Battery door is not removable. There is no alignment pin hole for grip. The only remote self timer that will work is blue tooth. No other remotes work (infrared line of sight). Compare features with other cameras.

    Purchased as a Christmas present. Like the fact that it's wireless compatible. The only thing I don't like is that none of the batteries purchased for the predecessor, a Rebel EOS T3 won't fit and that seems very much a shame...everything else easily transitions with the exception of rechargeable batteries.

    Excellent camera in this price range. It has brand name of Canon, canon website itself was charging extra for shipping and handling so I ordered from BestBuy.
