love canon’s so i love this camera! i take lots of pictures in different settings and it always does the trick. i first started out with the t3 and i think this series is great for beginners. can improve easily by taking advice from others or watching videos online. overall, i’d recommend any canon, especially the rebel series, to everyone!

Very nice and handy camera. Pros - 1) light weight 2) battery backup is good 3) Touch screen is very responsive and quick 4) Takes good pictures in low light 5) each and every mode is worth trying Cons 1) Canon should provide atleast a carrying bag for this camera and price they quoted

This camera take great pictures and very user friendly. This is my first DSLR camera and It’s easy to use. I upgraded from a point and shoot and it was worth it. I was trying to decide between a T7i or the T8i and the T8i is 3 years newer so I went with it.The quality of my pictures is so much better!!! It’s worth the amount of money I paid for it.

This is the first DSLR I've owned. I've had plenty of digital cameras and even some SLRs. I got this for astrophotography it works very well and is pretty intuitive to use. Its great quality for the price. The next steps up for canon cameras offer few features that arent much better for the price increase (other than weather sealing... that seems worth it to upgrade). Only thing I'd say is if this is your first DSLR maybe looking into Mirrorless first. Beyond that... I have no regrets with this camera, I love it! 10/10 would recommend.

This camera is absolutely amazing. The photos and videos it captures are simply gorgeous. I’ve taken this camera out for some nature and wildlife photography and the images are sharp, clear, and high quality. I also use this camera for my YouTube channel and the videos are top notch. I find myself loving photography and videography like never before. I have another lens (ef-s 18-135mm) that I use with it and I couldn’t be more happier with the results. I highly recommend this camera for beginners and YouTubers like me.

I initially bought this camera to take pictures of my kids soccer team maybe film some games, overall I was amazed on how good the quality of pictures and videos this camera takes! This is my first camera and I’m happy on how easy it is to use

I love my new camera. There are many added features that were not on my older Rebel camera. The touch screen that can be turned around is a must. I have an older rebel camera, (ten years old) but the only reason for a new one is I have used it so much and changing lens constantly, I wore it out. Worth the money. I can also use my long lens from the old camera in the new one.

I was going to get the T7i the only real reason I picked up this t8i is that it can shoot in 4k. So if video quality is not your thing pick up the t7i and save a little! You can stream with it but the battery life is not that great dies within a hour or so! The mobile app is cool to. being able to transfer pictures to your mobile device is a plus! If you are looking for accessories for this camera look for things that work with the 80D ( basically the same camera just a different name). The only down fall is you are paying a high price for a camera and no memory card so make you get one. There is no internal memory.

This is my first DSLR. I used to have SLRs in my younger days and my own darkroom, so I know a little about photography. As I just got the camera, I haven't yet had a chance to put it through its paces but the first shots I have taken look incredible. I also got this to do some astrophotography with my telescope. I just got the adapters and waiting for a clear night. I've seen photos that other Canon EOS owners have taken through their scopes and they are amazing! This camera is loaded with features and it will take me some time to learn them all! Quality appears very good, with a very solid feel. Get s strap! (was not included). Very fast response when shooting, and fast flash recycle time too. Recommended!

I had an old Canon and wanted to upgrade. I wanted to stay close to the design of my old camera for familiarity so this T8i was perfect. I however ordered my first one too close to the start of Covid and the order was canceled! I recently repurchased and received it. I've used it at 2 soccer games and I'm very happy with it so far!

This camera has been pretty easy to play around with and get some great photos with no previous photography experience. Definitely great for beginners! I plan on purchasing a 50mm lens soon, but the kit lens has been awesome for learning the camera.

Great camera! Only reason we gave it 4 stars is because we haven't had it long enough to confidently give it that 5th star just yet. Very easy to use if you are familiar with the Rebel cameras. We went with the 8i specifically for the audio input and it has worked incredibly well so far. We use the Rode microphone and it was literally plug it in and go. No complicated settings to deal with. SUPER HAPPY!!!

I recently got this camera as an upgrade from my very old T2i model and I absolutely love it! The quality is incredible, it is very easy to use and has many features I look forward to using. I still have a lot to play with, but so far I absolutely love this camera and am very happy with my purchase!

I have experience with about every series of canon camera this is probably the best series that if you hobby is getting serious or your teaching others Everything is pretty much easy to understand it has a lot of upgraded features from the lower Grade Ti canon cameras The rebel camera is tougher I’ve dropped it a few times You can drop them things and they still work. You can put it in the bag you take it out. You still take apart a picture you probably just need a lens cleaner depending on what you have your bag that is definitely on the gold travel type of camera and it will take awesome professional pictures if you know how to send it that way works better on manual mode altogether but I’m not gonna lie sometimes automatic get the job done it has HDR, which makes the picture look real contrasting I’m not a fan of filters I’m just not home, but the best thing about it is that you can copyright all your pictures inside the camera beginner rebel series does not this one is in your metadata that is yours so you should not say that is probably the most important thing about that camera

This has served me extremely well especially when this camera had come with two kit lenses that made the job much easier than having to buy a separate lense. All inclusive. Great buy.

Awesome camera. Easy to use. Worth the money. Photos are sharp and clear. After buying two of these cameras for my grand children. I finally got one for me. I’m loving it!

Bought this camera to take photos for a family trip to Disney World. The photo quality and video capabilities are exactly what I needed. Camera body is lightweight and durable. Settings are very easy to use. I have another Canon, but this is the best yet!
