I love my new camera! I was able to take wedding and graduation photos for some friends and they came out nice and clear. So many functions that I haven’t even tried yet. Would definitely recommend :)

Best camera I’ve ever had. So much quality and power. It is pricey but if you want to take professional photos yourself without getting a crazy expensive camera then get this one. I use it for photos and recording and it is top notch. Battery can go pretty quick when recording but this is solved by having a second battery pack that you can switch out and just ensure you have them charged.

Beautiful photos. Easy to carry camera. Light weight. Seems solid quality. Will be taking professional photos soon.

I traded up from a T6i and it has features that I really like that the T6i did not have. I take lots of pictures and it does a great job in most of the subjects I use it for. I have a couple of issues with it, one being that the screen is geared more toward beginners. Thankfully I found that the standard screen is still there so that is no longer a problem. The other issue is that it does not focus as well as it should even though it has a lot more focusing points than the T6i. But that could be because I am using a non-Canon lens. I just recently bought it and I'm sure that I will be happy with it overall.

Bought this thing to get into photography. As a beginner digital SLR camera, if you absolutely must have a new one, this is the one. I turned on manual mode almost immediately and it's been absolutely amazing for that. The lens that comes with this is...well it serves it's purpose. It's not a super crisp lens, but at F8-F11 it is pretty solid. The menus are easy to navigate too. Turn off the guided menus though, they make it seem easier but actually end up getting in the way more than assisting you. 4K video looks crisp, but keep in mind this thing crops the image when you run 4k, It's still a nice crisp image but this is already a crop sensor camera so you are already cutting that crop down quite a bit. I think that's the biggest mark against it, honestly. For photography, it's an APS-C sensor, which means it's not quite a full sized camera sensor so it has a lower resolution (Not a terrible thing the difference will be minimal, this thing takes beautiful pictures!) and is worse in low light. I would give this thing a 4/5, however this is my first camera. As an introduction into the world of photography and as something that has made me appreciate the art of photography, this is a 5/5 for me. I would make a couple of recommendations to anyone looking to get into this thing. Only buy new if you absolutely must, this was me, so I'm not judging if you do. Buy the 50mm f1.8 STM lens, the nifty fifty! Cheaper material than the lens this comes with but better, more crisp images. Alternatively, buy the 24mm F2.8 STM lens. It's a flatter lens, but don't count it out. It's a wide angle lens and, I would argue, even crisper images.

Loved the knowledge of my salesperson! I had already done some research and with his knowledge it made the buying process easier. I like the fact that I could go in the store and feel the cameras in my hand which helped moved the process along as well. Love my new camera and new lens can't wait to get out there and take some great photos!

My daughter is a photographer and Graphic Design major and loves this camera. She had been using an older Canon DSLR for several years but needed an upgrade. This model provides built-in Bluetooth and Wifi and captures HDR images without any post-processing. Good deal on a great camera!

Bought it as an up grade from my t7i. I am very impressed. It's sharper, lighter and smaller.
